About Us

We are a full-service landscape design/build firm that has been woman owned and family operated since 1974. We design and install landscapes, drainage solutions, hardscapes, lighting, and irrigation, catered to our clients. We also help clients with master planning and planning required for County permitting. We are constantly researching new products and ways to solve landscape problems.

What a remarkable, positive improvement in our water issues thanks to Ana and the Landscape Design Center crew. We are very pleased! The water is moved away from our house beautifully. No more puddling in the drive, no water leaking into the basement. The sump pump hardly operates, even with a lot of rain. In addition the regraded driveway with fresh gravel looks so good now. The landscaping really improved the look of our property.

We had the Landscape Design Center install an irrigation system from our roof gutters under the back yard, and then regrade our side walkway and add a flagstone walkway. They did a great job. One of the ways they really stood out was in diagnosing our water issues, and explaining where excess water was running out of our previous system. Their team was very professional and spent a lot of care situating the flagstones and organizing plants around them. They also provided the most competitive bid we received. I would definitely use them again for future landscape work.

We had an in-ground pool installed over the winter and contracted with Ana at Landscape Design Center to restore both our front and back yards from being the construction sites that they were. This included extending our existing brick patio down to the new pool deck, adding underground drainage pipes from the patio, creating swales to accommodate yard runoff, planting bushes and plants and installing sod in both our back and front yards. Ana and her crews were very easy to work with. They left the job site cleaned up each day, which we really appreciated. Their work ethics were second to none. To sum it up, they did a fabulous job and we would gladly recommend them to anyone wanting to have any type of landscaping or the above mentioned work done. We have gotten many compliments on our yards from our neighbors.

Ana and her landscape team did a great job . . . really transformed our property! Ana devoted much time and energy formulating a design for the property in front of our house, taking into consideration the large mature trees, ground cover and varying amounts of shade and sun (as well as my plant and shrub preferences). She educated us a lot on different species of plants and trees. The crew worked diligently and cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. It was impressive the amount they completed each day. We have more work to be done in the future and Landscape Design Center will our go to landscaper!!

Excellent, experienced, local company. I have a very large and challenging yard. After years of contracting with another company I decided I needed to change because I was just unsatisfied with the work. Ana came out and personally walked my property. She identified problem areas and potential projects for later down the road. She told me what was necessary and also what was not. Ana is extremely knowledgeable in horticulture as well as professional and attentive to detail. I truly have never had a harder working and professional company work on our property than her crew. My yard is beautifully cleaned and manicured for the spring season. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the prices were more then reasonable. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. True quality and dedicated customer service!

Fantastic company! This was the third time we used Landscape Design Center. Ana and her crew are consistently, incredibly professional. They treated our home with care and respect; the crew even watched out for the neighbor's cats who frequent our yard. When we ran into a problem with another contractor, Ana helped us find a replacement. When I discussed budge with Ana, she listened to me and came up with ideas that kept us on budget while still getting the job done. The care and quality of their work is remarkable. Very pleased with every aspect of my experience with LDC! We had our lawn graded, pathway and plants removed/trimmed, and sod installed. They communicated quickly, responded to all of my requests, and their work was beautiful. I initially contacted Ana to help me alleviate a drainage issue on the side of my home. She was very knowledgeable about drainage and did a great job figuring out what was happening and the best way to fix it. Not only did she and her crew fix the problem, they made it aesthetically pleasing with a stone riverbed and steps. I appreciated her flexibility and willingness to make changes in order to meet my needs and stay within my budget. Her crew was very friendly and professional! They also did Christmas and landscape lighting!

The Landscape Design Center replaced our front walkway, back patio, and landscaped the area adjacent to the back patio. We are absolutely thrilled with all of the work. Ana worked closely with us to create a design that accounted for all aspects of the job including our concerns about water incursion into our basement. The work crew did a meticulous and careful installation of the design and paid attention to the smallest details. I know they went above and beyond when they felt it was necessary to do the job right. There was a lot of artistry involved in implementing the design since we chose irregular flagstone and they succeeded exceptionally well. We were also pleased with the design and choice of plantings used in the landscaping. We highly recommend the Landscape Design Center.
