Alan and his team did a great job on the landscaping around our new pool. He came to visit with us and actually spend a lot of time explaining why he was proposing the various plants etc... his advice and experience as a Landscape Architect prevented us from making big mistakes in a few areas of our project that would have been hard and expensive to correct. Finally, the execution of the project as well as the follow up from Alan, to make sure the trees and plants were doing well, are exceptional! We are so happy in our new backyard retreat. We get compliments all the time...

Landscape Image is great. Our yard always looks great and neighbors always comment on how beautiful looks. Landscape Images is very responsive to any needs or questions that we have. During the freeze, they came out before to protect the plants. They check the irrigation to make sure it is working properly.

All of the staff from Marianne, the architect, Caesar and Steve, the planters, to Mary and Jessica the accountants have been supremely competent, creative, dedicated and easy to work with. With suggestions, Marianne helped guide us through revisions and changes to refine our design until it was better than we could envision. Marianne connected us with Bromite of New Orleans. Robbie carefully follow the plan to create the hardscape driveway, paths, and walkway with stained patterned concrete with brick borders. The whole project was carefully nurtured from beginning to end!

Alan Mumford and his team at Landscape Images helped us put together our dream backyard. Fully designed our back yard, an oasis of beautiful plant and tree material as well as a cypress wood pergola, a travertine stone patio and a build in grilling facility. Professional, knowledgeable and for us as a client, great to work with.

Marianne exemplified professionalism and creativity throughout the implementation of a midsize landscaping project at our uptown home. She completed our project - on time and on budget and was communicative, responsive and proactive in making sure we knew how things were progressing during the 2.5 months that it took to complete the project. We consulted with Landscape Images on the complete replacement and redesign of our residence gardens in New Orleans. This is the third complete landscaping design and install Landscape Images has done for us. Each time, Marianne, the designer, has successfully transformed our ideas into a fabulous design. Her plant recommendations are impressive-the right plant for a specific purpose. Her selection of plant specimens is fabulous and the larger ones come from her farm. The crews doing the hardscape, planting, and maintenance are professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

This is the most creative and passionate team I have ever worked with. I am an interior designer therefore a bit picky. I spoke with 2 other Landscape designers prior to her but they didn't "hear" me. She really listened and was able to interpret my vision, adding some local flavor and a highly competent knowledge of New Orleans landscape architecture. These people love what they do and it shows in their relationship with their staff (excellent pros) and the final product, our oasis in the middle of the city. From mixing different textures, heights, fullness and color, to lighting and irrigation, they were thorough and caring.

They are awesome to work with - very creative and excellent guidance on use of space. We love our yard now!

We have been their clients since we moved into our house, now almost 34 years! Our garden always receives rave reviews and more over is such an enjoyment for us. We especially love to sit in our back garden. I love the fact that Landscape Images offers so many services-freeze protection for our rare NO freezes, irrigation, lighting, Christmas decorations (indoors and out), just to name a few. As our family has changed, children grown and moved away, Landscape Images has adapted our garden to our circumstances. They put in a basket ball court for our son when he was 6 and now that space is a beautiful secret garden with a fountain and seating, perfect for reading. Our most recent project occurred because of a small renovation to our house. Landscape Images made some wonderful changes in the back garden to adapt to that renovation. This was just one of many projects we've done with Landscape Images.

We began using LI when we moved into our new home in NOLA based on a referral from a friend. This was in Sept., 2007 so our experience with them has been almost 9 years. They provide all maintenance in our yard, including periodic minor upgrades. In addition, they are very good with storm and freeze help. We have only had two maintenance team supervisors so turnover is not a problem. All work has been very professional and totally satisfactory. They are especially good at responding to special requests. We are very comfortable recommending them to others.

Landscape images designed and installed a beautiful, unique, natural landscape for our family. I recommend this company highly. This was an extensive installation including sidewalk repair and paver installation, irrigation, ground cover, and unique custom fence and gate. They worked with the existing plants and large oak trees on the property, our aesthetic sensibility, and the architectural details in our 1900 arts and craft home. The final result is beyond my expectations. I know that as the plants grow through spring and summer, it will look even more fabulous. My interactions with the staff have been professional and friendly. I have had compliments from passers by and my new neighbors. My children have plenty of room to play, and this investment in my home was well worth every penny.

After nearly a year invested in a complete remodel it finally came time to approach the yard. While perusing Houzz for ideas I discovered photos of yard transformations by Landscape Images and loved the work they were doing. I had been talking with another landscape company but wasn't convinced that removing my old brick and replacing it in the same configuration with pavers that look somewhat like old brick was a direction I wanted to go in. When I met with Marianne of Landscape Images I told her that I really didn't know what I wanted. After we walked around the yard she stated that she wanted to save the brick and create little vignettes or rooms defined by carpets of old brick. I loved the idea. Over the next few days she came up with a design option that I thought was just what this small uptown yard needed. I felt like I could put the whole project in her hands and let my decision weary brain sit back and watch. And what a transformation to behold. My very boring and barely functional concrete ally with a bricked-in planting area have now been transformed to a side yard with a meandering path of irregular, blue flagstone flanked by camellias, hydrangeas, cardboard fern, dwarf mondo grass surrounding the flagstone and a weeping yaupon tree. She planted just enough to leave space for me to add my final touches of impatiens, ferns and caladium. I now have a complete watering system and am set up for future lighting. I have separate seating areas serving different functions and a water feature to soften the sound of neighbors air conditioners. I have plantings designed to block unsightly views and others designed to enhance the lovelier borrowed views. And nearly everything planted provides me with profuse seasonal blooms. Color me happy! Bravo Marianne. I will definitely call her when I'm ready to address my weary looking front yard. Can't wait to see what magic she will do there. I highly recommend Landscape Images . :)

I found Jeannette at Landscape Imaging to be the quintessential professional, as were the men who worked for her. Our landscaping needs were well beyond the usual, "do it yourself," and I was tired of thinking about what needed to be done to make our back pool area beautiful. Jeannette asked all the right questions and came up with a design I loved. Our yard was transformed in less than a week, and the plants are all appropriate for their spaces and sun exposure. She has a great sense of balance and color, and I didn't have to go over everything in painstaking detail...she just got it done, and it looks beautiful! The price of the project was pretty steep, but after asking around, still within the prices charged in the area for similar projects. The charge for demolition was high, so I recommend that you do that yourself if you're inclined to save some money. Very pleased with our investment and our experience with Landscape Imaging.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Marianne Mumford and her staff. Marianne promptly responded and was delightful, knowledgeable and creative in formulating a plan. She listened to our needs and set appropriate goals. She corrected a difficult drainage problem in our small yard and designed a lovely space using existing plants and adding new ones. Landscape Images, Ltd and their talented designer, Jeannette Roussell, came to our rescue about ten years ago when we purchased a home with a yard in desperate need of an overhaul. My husband and I removed the old overgrown plants that we knew needed to go and thought we could come up with something new on our own. It didn't take us long to realize that without training, we could not create the imaginative design we longed for in our yard. After speaking with another company that presented us with a very bland design, we called on Jeannette. She incorporated the few plants that we requested, and many we weren't familiar with, into a wonderful lush design that is both creative and original. Our formerly bare back yard that faces a golf course is now a cool oasis with an oriental feel, encompassing among other plants, Japanese Maples, Azaleas, Sasanqua, and very impressive Bamboo of three different varieties. She designed a walled patio on the side, giving us a private outdoor sitting area, kitchen, and eating area and gardens full of tropical palms, colorful shrubs, herbs, and blooms that we enjoy while we sit and read in the shade or to bring inside to enjoy. Our front yard was transformed from overgrown boxwoods in a straight line, to several curving and graceful beds of varied shrubs and blooms that give our contemporary and formerly stark house a soft and inviting entrance. We now love and enjoy every inch of our yard, so much so that we had Landscape Images come back just a year ago and accent the trees and gardens with landscape lighting, not only for security purposes and to provide the neighbors with a view, but for us to be able to enjoy the gardens after nightfall when we stroll our yard or just look out of the windows in the evenings. There is truly nothing more calming than having an oasis to return home to and enjoy, and we have Jeannette Roussell and Landscape Images, Ltd to thank for our little piece of heaven!

We have been working with Jeannette, Landscape architect, from Landscape Images since August 2010. We hired them to help with a master plan for our yard. Our first project was to expand our patio and create a privacy shade garden. The project came out perfectly! Landscape Images has an amazing team of professionals that work hard to complete a job. Landscape Images works within our budget, shows up on time, and leaves our yard neat and tidy when leaving. We are very pleased with Landscape Images and highly recommend them. Our garden in front of the house was in dire need of landscaping and with both of us working coupled with the fact that we do not have much experience with gardening, we turned to Landscape Images. We had an initial meeting with Marianne and expressed our concerns and desires for our garden. We wanted sometime nice but low maintenance and didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. She worked with us every step of the way offering numerous suggestions and advice for us to either cater to our requests for certain aesthetics in the garden design or ways we can cut down on costs. She was quick to respond to emails and calls and the garden was completed just a few weeks after our consultation. Not only is the garden beautiful but we spent what we wanted and had great service. Marianne was very helpful in making the front of our house look beautiful and just the way we wanted, and we couldn't have done it without her help and guidance. We will have other landscaping needs down the road for the side and back of our house and we will definitely return to Marianne at Lanscape Images.

We renovated an older house and wanted to start over with the landscaping. Landscape Images helped us from the beginning with design and concept development and finished up planting each individual petunia. We are thrilled with the result. Aesthetically, it is exactly what we were hoping for. They are expensive, but professional, thorough, and delightful to work with, from the owners to our monthly maintenance crew. Marianne Mumford and her team have been incredible from start to finish to ongoing maintenance and additional projects. Growing up in the landscaping business I was looking for exceptional quality and responsiveness to our goals. Living Uptown New Orleans with close neighbors and previous flooding we were especially focused on drainage and privacy. We had a bland yard with little to no plant material after several efforts post-Katrina to landscape. Marianne came in, saw and designed an exquisite private courtyard and side yard for us that creates several new outdoor rooms for our home. Her eye for design is exceptional and artistic. She saw whimsical and practical use for space we had underutilized under our deck by turning it into a stunning water garden featuring a renovated Katrina-flooded water wheel our son had made. Marianne's crew refinished several of our special older pieces into stunning beauties that are now focal points in this new space. She has replied to every idea and concern we have had immediately and had her team out to attend to any item we flagged. Marianne followed the project cost respectfully and clearly at every stage of the project, adjusting as we needed. I cannot imagine a better designer, implementer, crew or group of lovely people to work with.

The finished product is always a sight to behold: perfectly tailored to the specific site with the ideal mix of indigenous and exotic plant species. The fact that Landscape Images also maintains gardens and lawns after the implementation, they get to sensitively nurture their seeds to quietly elegant fruition. Landscape Images took our plain and too-many-trees rectangle of a backyard and transformed it into a magical space filled with curving flower beds, stepping stone pathways, and even our children's tether ball placed in just the right place. They worked hand in hand with us, listening to our thoughts and the way we use the yard and even to what plants we hoped to retain or add and then developed a plan from there. We were so happy with the result that we have since used them two more times for second and third phases. They were professional, fun, and diligent in the planning phase and their crew was wonderful. We contracted Landscape Images to design, install and maintain 2 entirely different spaces at our home in New Orleans...one to the south and one to the north of the structure. Because they are separate and have different light conditions, I thought it would be fun to have entirely different feels in each space. Landscape Images rose to the challenge and installed a structured formal green garden in front and an informal tropical airy garden in the back. Due to their sharp design skills, not only do they look appropriate and terrific esthetically, the drainage issues were addressed to perfection, while working within my budget. Five Stars for Landscape Images !!!

The Louise S. McGehee School contracted Landscape Images to design and install a "one of a kind" Butterfly Garden and Outdoor Classroom. After an initial meeting to discuss the purpose and functionality of the garden, Alan and his staff spent months researching and planning. We met several times and each time Alan ensured that all of our needs were being met with each revision and stayed within our budget. When faced with challenges, Alan's team came up with other workable solutions. We were always well informed during the installation process and the project was completed in a timely manner. The installers were wonderful to work with. In addition to their knowledge of plantings, drainage, and design; their creative and artistic vision has made the garden a magical place! We could not be happier with the finished product!

I cannot say enough good things about landscape images. Jeannette was so wonderful in educating me about options, taking into account my ideas but then bringing them to another level so that the final project was a beautiful backyard. We have so enjoyed the fruits of her labor this summer and the garden is just beautiful! She is a pleasure to work with and I have already been recommending her to all of my friends. Alan and his staff at Landscape Images all did an outstanding job building our garden from the ground up. Alan worked with us on all aspects of the design and build phase of the project. He suggested new structural elements that we hadn’t considered which we subsequently built as well as the garden layout. We wanted our garden to incorporate a lot of natives and plants not often found in New Orleans gardens and Alan worked with us to give us what we wanted while pointing out potential problems and making many suggestions that we had not previously considered. His crews all did an outstanding job on all phases of the project including irrigation, drainage, demolition/removal of unwanted plants, relocation of existing plants, installing borders and other features and planting. Also, the crews did an outstanding job of keeping a clean jobsite and they were all a pleasure to work with. Finally, the crews showed up on time/on schedule over a period of several months.

After doing a small job revamping the planting in my pool area, I had Landscape Images attack my side yard. I had the initial thought of a little French bistro table sitting on the little stone patio with some type of overhead covering, but it is only with Jeannette Roussell's talent and expertise that it came together in such a beautiful and pleasing way! It amazes me how much it effects my mood in a positive way just to glance at the space. The plants, the lighting, and the watering system were installed with careful thought to many factors- the space, the amount of sunlight, drainage issues. Every member of the team was a pleasure to work with. The company is committed to work at the top level, and their efforts reflect that. I am looking forward to Spring when I will have Jeannette design and install new plants in our front yard.
