Dissapointing is a summary of our experience. We contracted with Lanson's team to create a conceptual design, and specified in our signed and agreed upon contract that we were to receive a European garden design sketch and a design of our back fence, among other things. They provided examples of these for other houses they had done before we signed the contract. They completed 80% of the contract, but once they realized that we weren't going to contract with them to install the design, Lanson essentially told us that he had too many important clients going to installation to take the time to finish his obligations with me. Again, we have a signed contract with his obligations (and examples provided of these obligations), and he refused to complete his obligations that we prepaid for once we realized we weren't going to move on to installation. What is further dissapointing is that at our initial meeting, he specifically said that if we didn't want to move forward after receiving the initial design, that would be just fine and no hard feelings. Really dissapointing.

Blair and her team at Lanson B Jones did a fantastic job in turning our small, sad, yard into a perfect oasis. Blair made our vision come to life and made the yard beautiful and easy to manage. Thanks again!

Lanson B. Jones designed and installed our backyard landscaping. The result was not only elegant and beautiful but also a place that we regularly go outside and enjoy. Essentially they increased the square footage of our house by making our backyard part of our living space.

We hired Lanson to develop a european style garden for our yard in Houston. We were specifically interested in something that would provide a pleasant environment during the winter months as this would ultimately be the only time we would be in Houston. Lanson took great care to listen to our needs and then met with us several times during the developmental stage. He was also good at suggesting and showing us examples of design elements that we would not have thought of on our own. When it came time to implement the design Lansons entire team was extremely profesional to the point of perfecionism. The end result was exactly what we had envisioned and we could not be more pleased. We now use his maintenance team to aid us in the continued growth and development of our small scale european garden. The staff at Lanson B. Jones is very enthusiastic and creative. Above all, they are professional and work hard to adhere to deadlines and budgets. They are of high experience and integrity and work hard to ensure every detail is considered.

Lanson B. Jones did two large projects for me at two different residential locations. The most recent was a large patio project for a condominium that included putting in a watering system for the custom planters and a wall sculpture. All of this was done according to his design proposal and under his supervision. The work was done in a timely manner, on budget, that was finished beautifully. His crew was always professional, kind, made suggestions when the color needed changing out. I can recommend this company without hesitation.
