From the initial consultation with Devon Dobson until the completion of the pool, our experience was extraordinarily seamless and easy. He was extremely helpful in the design of the pool, answered all questions we had with knowledge and grace, had incredible follow through, and was always a pleasure to deal with. Litchfield County Pools and the Dobson family built our pool in 2002 and they have been servicing it ever since. From opening to closing they do a terrific job. The pool is always promptly opened and closed when requested and maintained clear and debris free during the entire season. Any problems or repairs are immediately and professionally attended to. All you need to do is call!

Devon and Phil did a phenomenal job getting our pool built exactly how we had dreamed. Extremely responsive, lived up to every promise, and no surprises. Service has been great so far too. Highly recommend.

In addition to building a quality pool on time and on budget, it's really the service that sets this company apart. Be very careful with this company. We hired them to renovate our pool and they dropped the ball at the last minute. Everything was going great until the plaster was done and the pool sat without water in the 90 degree heat. As a result, we are left with cracks in the finish. The company president, Phil Dobson, who scheduled the water delivery, refuses to take any responsibility for the defects. He told us that there are no guarantees in plaster and walked away from us when we showed him the problems with the finish. His recommendation is to live with it. We are very dissatisfied with this job and the lack of customer service on the part of Litchfield County Pools Inc.

Love this pool company! After being treated like a "number" by another pool company for years, I contacted Litchfield County Pools. They were attentive, responsive, did a great job, and seemed to genuinely care about my satisfaction as a customer. I hope to use them for years to come!

We totally love our new pool. I had very specific ideas in mind--diamond-brite blue tinted plaster, salt-water system and decorative fountains. Phil totally understood what we wanted--and designed and built a great pool. Coping is extra thick--Phil really cared about the quality. Highly recommended.
