The work Ledden Palimeno did to transform our yard into a true oasis was outstanding. From the beginning Joe Palimeno and his team designed our yard with beauty, and then turned the design into reality over a few short months. All along the way, the project was well organized and communicated to us so that we knew the schedule of activities each week. Joe Palimeno his family and crew performed an amazing complete renovation to our property. Joe listened well to our vision and was able to create a front porch feel using small patios. The design was also able to transform a dated pool area into an oasis we have really enjoyed. A year later our property looks even better. Joe and his crew are there any time the property needs attention. Ledden Palimeno provides a total service . A design with plans, the ability to handle all trades and then on going property maintenance. We recommend Ledden Palimeno every chance we get and will continue to do so. What an absolute delight it was to work with Joe Palimeno of Ledden Palimeno landscaping. We built a family beach house down the shore. We have many families members down every weekend and we needed help maximizing our outdoor space to accommodate everyone while coming up with an outdoor landscape plan that complimented the house on a shore lot. Working with Joe Palimeno was an absolute pleasure. The first thing he did was listen to all of us and was able to make his first draft of the plan pretty close to what our objectives were. He then continued to work the plan and would fine tune the design until we were all on board. His flexibility of making changes during the project was also a major plus as he and us would make some changes along they way. We were very appreciative of Joe's professionalism and maybe even more important his team that worked on our project were extremely knowledgeable. His team treated this project like it was one of their own. Also refreshing was from design to implementation, Joe wasn't afraid to tell us what he thought worked and didn't work when we had our own ideas. His pricing options were clear and he articulated the differences in where there is and isn't value. He held our hand through the entire process and his itemization/breakdown of costs were the clearest from all the sub contractors we worked with. Joe came right on budget with no surprise change orders. Joe was always there for us and made himself available at all times. Him and his team got our job done to the exact week of his planned schedule. Our project is now complete and Joe has been paid in full. But as with all new equipment there are questions and some minor cliches. Joe is as responsive as he was before we hired him. We will continue to use Ledden Palimeno for years to come. I had a very bad experience with this company, and I would seriously caution other homeowners about contracting with them to do any substantial work on your property. I was interested in having a pergola built on my property, and I had been using Ledden Palimeno to service my irrigation system or 1 year (I just bought my home and hired them to do the winterizing of the system) so I looked on their web site and noticed that they had built one. So, I contacted them to see if they could build one with me. I worked directly with one of the principals, who I believe is the owner: Joe Palimeno. Mr. Palimeno turned out to be extremely unprofessional. The problems started at the outset. First, Mr. Palimeno scheduled a time to visit my property after some back and forth on email. Because I work in management, I went to considerable effort to clear a schedule - weeks in advance - to be at home during the time he was available. I was thus shocked to learn from Mr. Palimeno himself, shortly before our meeting, that he was attending a ball game in Philadelphia with another client and thus could not meet with me on the day we had scheduled for several weeks. I was shocked, but didn't say anything. I tried to be flexible, and we found another time (again involving me clearing my schedule to be there during the work day hours when he preferred to meet). After this meeting, Mr. Palimeno delivered an estimate of approximately $12,000 to build the pergola, and he indicated that "once" he received a deposit in the amount of almost $4,000 (or 1/3 rd of the project cost) he would send me a design of the pergola. I mailed him the deposit check on April 12, and it posted to my account on April 17. I heard nothing from Mr. Palimeno, and after 5 weeks I contacted him to inquire about the design sketch. He did respond and said he was busy, but would get something to me but didn't say when. I pushed for a specific date, and asked if it was possible to have it by June 1 (almost 6 weeks after the deposit was cashed). He didn't agree to that, but did say he would have it to me at the end of the following week (which would have been the 7th week from when he cashed the just under $4,000 deposit). He never sent the design sketch after the specific date he said he would. At this point I sent an admittedly pointed, but professional email to Mr. Palimeno stating that he was giving the impression the job was not important to him. I explained my concern that he was consistently stating he was going to do something but then failed to do it. I was shocked again when he canceled the job with a terse and bizarre email stating things "just won't work out between us." Not a single time throughout this interaction did he offer an apology, or any semblance of a recognition of the lapses on his end. What was particularly frustrating for me is that I had worked with several contractors to get quotes for this project, but chose Ledden Palimeno and was stuck on their schedule for almost 3 months while they held the deposit. I had expressed to Mr. Palimeno that I had several important family events over the summer and wanted to enjoy the pergola in the yard for these events, but now I am off the schedule with the other contractors and won't have a pergola built this summer. Again, not once did Mr. Palimeno find the ability to pull up inside of himself the ability to say he was sorry. Let me summarize my experience with Ledden Palimeno: The owner sets the tone for the company: he says he will do something, then doesn't, gives the impression a $12,000 job is not important, and refuses to even acknowledge an apology or do anything to smooth over an upset customer. Be wary of working with people and companies like this.

I simply can't say enough positive things about our experience Ledden-Palimino; within the span of a single week, our small property in Haddon Township, NJ has been literally transformed. From start to finish, the landscape designer and project managers team were accessible and responsive to all our questions and suggestions. Our project ultimately involved a complete re-grading of my property, removal of two mature trees and numerous shrubs, installation of new hard-scape materials for a patio and walkways, an automated irrigation system, all new sod, and new concrete sidewalks and driveways. As work progressed, many refinements and enhancements to the design drawings were discussed, agreed upon and implemented - and the project stayed on schedule and on budget. The crews on our project were also a wholly unexpected pleasure. Punctual, polite and professional - each one of these guys just showed up promptly and worked hard each and every day; when they left in the afternoons, the worksite was always clean and well-organized. They even power-washed the entire house! Also, technicians have continued to follow up in the weeks following completion to ensure our irrigation system was adjusted optimally and that all the new plantings and grass have taken root and are thriving. Watching our design plan materialize each day was a rewarding experience for us (and the neighborhood!) and the end-result speaks for itself. Kudos to the designers and project crews. In the final analysis we couldn't be happier with our decision and we look forward to enjoying the beauty of our property for many years to come.

We cannot say enough about Joe and his company. The quality of his work and knowledge of the subject matter is surpassed only by how he met every deadline as well as the budget. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and the final product was beyond our expectations. Joe helped us create a vision and then realize that vision. We give our absolute highest recommendation. We do not universally give good reviews and, in fact, this is the first time we have written a review for a website. You will not be disappointed if you work with Ledden Palimeno and he will be realistic in what you can and cannot do based on what you want to do and what you can afford to do.

We cannot say enough good things about Joe and his team. He took this dream of ours and helped us make it a reality. From the original design all the way up to completion , Joe was a pleasure to work with. He was always on site and very available to answer questions along the way. Working with Joe the owner/designer and his team was an excellent experience and we highly recommend him for any project. From beginning to end his professionalism and dedication to finishing the project under budget and on time was obvious. Great design of backyard and new pool. Great to work with Joe, the owner/designer, who listens to your idea and incorporates it into design that is even better than your idea. Completed work on time. The designer was at job site almost daily. Great crew that worked all day and cleaned up daily. After 3-4 months of work, we felt that the designer and crew became part of our daily lives and actually miss them working on the yard. I will use this company again to add screened porch to backyard next spring. I would gives six star rating if I could!
