About Us

Thanks for stopping by our Houzz profile! We are Nicola Vigini and Leslie Morrison. Our company Vigini Paint and Design is your one stop shop for interior and exterior painting, textures and cabinetry refinishing. We have the added bonus of offering our clients specialty finishes like traditional faux and decorative finishes, plasters, murals, hand painted wallpaper. Nicola is originally from Rome and made it to San Antonio via Seattle where he worked for 12 years after completing his studies at the Institute Superior de Peinture Decorative in Paris. Being that he is classically trained with years of on the job experience, he is considered the go to paint contractor/finisher/plasterer in town. I hail originally from San Antonio with a Masters in Decorative Arts from Parsons School of Design, NYC. We have found that offering our experience and knowledge of interior painting, cabinetry, specialty finishes and plaster has not only saved our clients money but also the added stress of hiring numerous contractors. We can show you ways to save money on your projects and give you peace of mind. Additionally, we offer a yearly hour follow up for touch ups. We began our company 1998 and single handedly changed the quality and level of painting and interior design in San Antonio and South Texas. We offered ideas with paint that were never considered prior to our arrival. We offer color consulting and design and if you have a DIY project, we can make an appt to meet where we can walk you through the steps to achieve your goals. We specialize in high end homes and have worked all over the United States and Europe. Our combined 55 plus years in the business brings an added dimension to the quality of our work. We treat each job as a personal project and keep in good communication with our clients before, during and after completion. Leslie & Nicola have done several different jobs for me & I always find them to be very professional, extremely talented & fairly priced. They did a fabulous job on my faux Crocodile Skin entry way, my powder room ceiling that has a fun Stingray print on the ceiling & some faux beams they did in my TV room. I get so many compliments about both when people see them! Im always impressed to see Leslie & Nicolas work!

Vigini Paint Design recently finished the majority of our interior walls in plaster--a totally new venture for us. We weren’t very familiar with the process but so enjoyed watching their meticulous work. The beautiful plaster walls have created a high end look and feel that is lovely and refreshing in our 50+ year old newly remodeled home. Owners Nicola and Leslie are passionate and talented artists who take great pride in their craft.
