Houzz Recommendation for Laurie Gorelick Interiors Laurie came to my rescue when I was in the process of building a new home. The builder wanted paint colors ASAP and I knew I needed help. Laurie helped me figure out a complementary palette that would flow from room to room and floor to floor. From that point, we worked on furnishing several rooms in the house, including the living room, dining room, family room and master bedroom. Laurie did the space planning and sourced fabrics and furnishings that would complement area rugs that we owned. She was great at repurposing furniture we already had and integrating pieces into new schemes and designs. Laurie has an excellent color sense and loves to mix patterns. She was adept at interpreting my tastes to find unique pieces that worked within my budget and fit the scale and style of my home. I would wholeheartedly recommend her.

Laurie worked with my contractor and me on a remodeling job of a master bathroom and a powder room in my house in Brookline. She was recommended by the contractor who has worked with her in the past. She was extremely easy to work with and gave wonderful advice. She was wonderful at helping simplify my choices. I am very pleased with the results and definitely plan to use her services in the future.

Laurie is a wonderful person. She is always professional, quick to respond to changes in the project or my personal preference. And she is amazing at what she does. She helped us with a kitchen 'facelift' and turning an unfinished basement into "Mantown" aka "Toy Town". Her ideas were very helpful. Both rooms look fantastic and we get tons of compliments.

I recently worked with Laurie Gorelick of Laurie Gorelick Interiors on remodeling/decorating my playroom and I am thrilled with the results. Laurie is a very creative person and also easy to work with. She listens and is attentive to ALL details and needs. She stays focused and gets the job done. Her professionalism and honesty were much appreciated throughout the project. I would definitely recommend Laurie to others for both large and small jobs. She has a great sense of style, color and concepts. Laurie knows her materials and has many resources to choose from as well as strong relationships with good contractors. She makes the whole process an enjoyable one while creating a lovely end result.

Laurie Gorelick provided all design work on a difficult bathroom renovation in an old Victorian house (1895). Her innovative approach involved pushing out a wall to enlarge the space and reorienting the bathtub under a window for nice light. Laurie assisted us in selecting elegant and well coordinated colors of wall and floor tiles, countertop, and walls. The overall effect is modern, yet classic, serene, and comfortable.

I hired Laurie Gorelick Interiors in 2005 to help me decorate my home. Specifically, we worked on my living room, dining room, master bedroom and master bath and kitchen. She also helped me pick paint colors throughout my house. Laurie is amazing! She has a wonderful sense of design and is extremely creative. Moreover, she is truly a delight to work with. She is extremely professional. She also knows how to work collaboratively with a client in a way that allows the client's personality and preferences to shine through. Overall, I have been extremely happy with Laurie's work and would highly recommend her to others.

Laurie has worked on numerous design projects on my home in Wellesley. Having worked with several other designers, I can say without hesitation that Laurie is the most creative, responsible, respectful, hard-working and honest member of her profession that I have dealt with. The first project Laurie worked on with me required her to use many existing -- and not terribly attractive -- pieces of furniture in a family room. She transformed what was truly an eyesore (and a room that we never used) into a place of warmth and beauty -- one that we now use constantly both for our own family and to entertain. Laurie has a great eye for both design and color. She also has her finger on the pulse of what is available in the marketplace. For our dining room, she found an absolutely stunning antique Venetian chandelier that completely transformed the room. She is also a real pleasure to work with -- attentive, solicitous and accommodating -- a consummate professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Commented: What is the name of the fabric of the throw pillow on the beige chase?The fabric was by Brentano and the pattern was called Dynasty in color Tiger Eye. This fabric has been discontinued.
