I recently had the pleasure of working with Linda Estrin Garden Design, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. It’s become my daily ritual to start my day with an early stroll in the meandering paths of my garden and to think of and thank Linda for creating this peaceful, meditative garden. Linda’s creative design aesthetic, coupled with her knowledge of native California and Mediterranean plants, has been a winning combination. I was amazed, again and again, by the many creative solutions Linda had for my existing cacti and succulent plants in my previous garden. Incorporating statement plants I had in my garden and relocating others to specific ‘succulent islands’ around the backyard and side yard has opened up a whole new way for me to enjoy the old with the new! My old garden was not very healthy. There were many weeds, the sprinklers were old and leaking, and many were broken. It was just not a garden that butterflies or hummingbirds would frequent. Linda worked out a schedule to address the weeds, improve the soil, set up drip irrigation, create gentle mounds for interest, and create a permeable swale for rainwater collection from a gutter’s downspout. She coordinated the order for plants and a tree so that everything happened with no downtime. As soon as the plants arrived to be planted, on that very day, the garden came alive. It was a sight to behold and I enjoy it daily.

I’ve worked with Linda twice over 12 years at two properties. Both times her knowledge, creativity and thoughtfulness resulted in unique, beautiful and healthy gardens. Linda is sensitive to budget, and really listens to her clients. I really enjoyed the process of working with her, the back and forth and collaboration. She is a real artist when it comes to balancing texture, color and working with scale. She has deep knowledge of the plants she works with and curiosity about those she isn’t as familiar with. She works hard to ensure the ultimate health and success of the garden. Always a pleasure to work with Linda and I hope I have more opportunities to do so in the future!

I have been around garden design professionals for over four decades and attended dozens of garden tours. Linda's work really stands out to me. Her projects are unique. They have a Linda Estrin touch to them that makes them special and fun. I think her love of succulents amongst other things, and her unique use of forms are what caught my eye when I first saw her work. She is very humble about her talents, and carries no airs, but don't be deceived this woman is brilliant and talented. Here gentle spirit combined with design boldness would make her fun to work with. If you wanted dull and boring she is not the right person to call.

Linda completely transformed our backyard. She met with us to learn about our aesthetic and how we would use the yard and designed accordingly. We LOVE our new space. It has extended our living space, giving us an outdoor living room and dining room. The plants are all lovely and we have enjoyed watching them grow. We spend time outside every day now - our bit of peace for the day! Linda did an amazing job and I highly recommend her.

I brought Linda in to redesign my tired garden. She worked closely with me to find plants that we both liked and which would grow well in my rather shady yard. Her team were very reliable and easy to work with. They did a stellar job of removing plants, replenishing the soil, putting in a new drip system, trimming large plants, planting new ones, and even researching and installing a privacy screen. Linda and her team were always transparent about costs and the time it would take to complete the project. My garden has been transformed into an oasis of green. I'm very, very pleased and you will be too if you decide to work with Linda.

We were looking for someone to take our succulent garden from good to spectacular. Linda came highly recommended by another landscape professional and she exceeded all of our expectations! She listened to what we wanted and then created a beautiful garden that flows from the front yard to the back, using unique plant materials that compliment each other and allow for great texture and color variations. She also used many of our existing pots and created new arrangements in them using our preferred color palate which further enhanced the overall look of our outdoor spaces. Linda is a joy to work with and we absolutely love our garden. You won't find anyone better to help you with your landscaping needs and we can't recommend her enough!
