Lisa has provided design services to my commercial real estate company on three occasions for three projects with very different scopes. Her first assignment involved updating the interior of a rental home in Carlsbad, California. Working with a very limited budget, Lisa brightened and modernized the house throughout. Following completion of the update, I was able to increase the monthly rental for the home from $5,400 to $8,000, which I deem a more than satisfactory result. The second project involved furnishing a 2,800 square foot townhome in St Louis, Missouri. Relying solely upon room dimensions and interior photographs that I had provided and despite never visiting the job site, Lisa was able to develop schematics which enabled us to make furniture, lighting and floor covering selections rather easily. I was pleased with process and the final product. Thanks to Lisa, my home is elegant, balanced and tasteful. Lisa's most recent assignment for us involved designing the common area of a branded hotel we own in Colorado. In this instance she was tasked with choosing materials for a remodeling of our hallways and breakfast room. She selected carpeting, wallcoverings, furniture and case goods. In addition, I asked her to accessorize and select artwork for the lobby and hallways and choose new outdoor furniture. Having to work within brand standards presented a significant challenge for us. Lisa's splendid taste however, carried the day. She was able to secure waivers from our Franchisor (thereby obviating the need to follow the Brand's color scheme) that allowed us to beautifully coordinate the Hotel interior throughout for the first time since we had purchased the property more than a decade earlier. Since the completion of this project our guest satisfaction scores have improved significantly, which has translated into higher occupancy and nightly rates for us. The before and after photographs do not do her justice. Lisa has a distinct talent for design and possesses exquisite taste. What sets her apart from others in her field, and I have worked with many, is her commitment to making certain she produces the best possible job result for her clients regardless of project size or budget. Hands down, she is the best designer I have ever worked with.

Lisa has been my guiding light in remodeling a 1400 home in ocean hills country club. From kitchen to bedroom, she has designed and decorated a fabulous home. Lisa guided my choices selecting color, design and incorporated some of my acquired art. She has been mindful of creating an Entire project and keeping costs down. I hired Ms. Nicol of LND before I retained my architect and builder. I wanted a designer's eye, so to speak, to be looking over the various drawings and "visions" of my architect. Ms. Nicol's guidance in that regard proved invaluable; her "vision" was often more in line with our wants than our architects. Ms. Nicol's recommendations for materials, window and door placements, colors, etc., for the exterior of the house were spot on. The interior recommendations went beyond just the floorings, appliances, fabrics, furniture, etc. Ms. Nicol actually redesigned interior spaces more to our liking that what we were initially presented. Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without her. We didn't know what we were getting into with a complete remodel, but we felt like Ms. Nicol was our ally who looked out for us. She made the experience much more educational and wait for it...enjoyable!
