Opad

This merchant is deceptive and dishonest. Do not believe their online return policy. They will create any excuse to not honor your return. I purchased a chandelier. The chandelier was delayed for over 4 months. After 4 months of calling and following up, a member of Opad offered a 10% discount if I will still accept the item. The item finally arrived, but was not appropriate for my project. When I contacted customer service, they rejected a return because 10% meant final sale. NO ONE said that at the time of offering the discount. Moreover, they are rude and harassing in their follow-up emails. Please stay away and find other vendors.

Tried to order a component 2 times. There was no communication that they were no longer working with the vendor and my order had been cancelled. When I called they said they could do nothing. Don't waste your time and money with Opad.com

Company is a complete scam. Item delayed for 6 months, always 'just shipped',until credit card dispute difficult. Then they state credit issued which the credit card company disputes. BUYER BEWARE AKA OLIGHTING

Be warned by my experience and that of some others: Do not do business with OPAD/O-Lighting! I can only assume it is a scam company. I ordered a piece of furniture in October 2014. My credit card was charged at the same time (almost $1,200) and the item was to be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I was repeatedly told by Jose Corea that: it is on a ship from Italy, it will be delivered in a week, it is being held for my authorizing its shipment, it is in customs awaiting clearance, it is in the warehouse, we don’t have it yet (April 2015). We agreed to cancel the order. After many phone calls asking for the refund, in June Corea confirmed he would have the credit issued within 48 hours. It has never been issued. The company did not respond to letters from the NY Consumer Protection Division. AMEX Platinum Card issued me a temporary credit in August 2015, saying it also never received a response from the company. Never a word from OPAD/O-Lighting.

O Lighting was a great discovery. They have excellent prices, and they were responsive to all of my queries about the products. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase lighting!

I recently received a new ball ceiling fan. It was the second one I had ordered in the last few months. One reason I ordered it so soon was because of the excellent support I received from Chris Christo and his team for the first one. The support I received for this one was just as good as the first one. Once I have the funds, I will be ordering a third fan for my guest room. The fan itself is outstanding, with great appearance matched only by the superb performance, powerful and extremely quiet. Definitely, a great fan at an excellent price with outstanding customer service.

What a great experience! After months of searching for a red lamp for a desk, I finally found the perfect one on Olighting. It was an open box, but they assured me that it would be in great shape. Imagine my surprise when they told me that there was no more open box red lamps, but that they would honor the price and send me a new one. The lamp arrived from the manufacturer and we really love it! Thanks Chris Christo for all your help. It arrived sooner than we expected and it is well made and the perfect size for our desk.

I ordered a ceiling fan and I was extremely pleased with the fan itself and the customer service from Opad. When I opened the box the fan came in, I could tell immediately that the quality of the fan company was high, as it was packaged beautifully and safely. The fan installation was a little tricky because of a cathedral ceiling and the remote control receiver, but the whole process went extremely well. Chris Cristo assisted me with my order, and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would most definitely recommend them, and will order from them again in the future.

This company is not in a position to offer adequate customer service to clients and I would advise against purchasing with them anytime in the near future.
