Lola helped us design and furnish our T2 apartment. She did a fantastic job of respecting our budget while showing a wide range of options. She has a great network of local producers in Portugal and Spain that enabled everything to be made to measure and customized to our desired look. She is super well-organized, always responds to emails within one business day, and was simply a joy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!

I had the pleasure of working with Lola and her team over the last several months and my only regret is that the project is complete - we loved working with Lola and wish we had more reason to keep going! Lola listened to our goals, fuzzy as they were, and translated them into something beautiful. The home we purchased was a new remodel, with essentially no character other than the views out of the windows, and Lola created something that feels ideal for the space and elegant in a way that we'll be excited to call it home for years. Lola is a meticulous professional. Every comment we made, question we had, piece installed, plan coordinated - everything was carefully documented and communicated. She also knows the best suppliers and she does the hard work of sourcing incredible pieces and coordinating the delivery. The couch we have was custom-built here in Lisbon; the cabinetry purpose-built for the space in a fantastic studio near Porto and Lola supervised the installation to make sure it was all just right. These pieces are now family heirlooms. This review sounds over-the-top, I know, but I really can't overstate how excellent Lola's work is and the extent to which she is the best partner or service we've worked with here in Portugal or in the US by a mile.

Lola designed our Campolide home. We didn’t know what to expect being foreigners who don’t speak Portuguese. Lola’s meticulous attention to detail, incredible level of organization, superior listening skills, and exceptional communication skills landed our substantial renovation project on time (to the day) and on budget (to the euro). We would work with Lola again in an absolute heartbeat.

Lola designed our home with a great eye for detail, from custom made pieces to vintage finds, she was able to pull the whole home together perfectly and easily :)

Lola did an amazing job completely transforming my apartment in a way I could never have imagined when starting the project. Not only was the end result fantastic, but throughout the process, Lola showed exceptional professionalism and organisational/project management skills. You'll find no better architect or project manager in Portugal. Lola is brilliantly creative, meticulous and thorough. She leaves no detail unexamined. Fluent in at least 3 languages (Portuguese, English and French), she has numerous contacts throughout Lisbon and was able to ensure that the construction company completed their work on time and to the highest standard. That's no easy task, and provided me with a level of assurity while abroad that I can put no price on. As a former architect, she was a joy to collaborate with and inspires me with her level of detail and ability to manage all the different pieces of the puzzle. Our project was kept on budget, completed on time, furnished with a mix of custom and vintage pieces, and realised beyond my greatest expectations. Do yourself a favour and hire her. Your project deserves it.

Working with Lola on this project was real pleasure. She is meticulously organised in her approach and brilliantly creative with her design. From the beginning until the end of the project Lola was very clear in her guidance on how to use the budget we had. She would always present us with multiple options for items we wanted to purchase, making the process of sourcing and buying different pieces really enjoyable. Lola worked with us to help pull together a cohesive design sense and flow for the furnishings in our new home. She really helped us with inspiration and 3D modeling for our 5 year old daughter's bedroom designing something she can grow with into the future. Also she helped us with our bedroom design and living room She was helpful in also finding the sources in the states even long distances, contacting the sources and providing the connections.

Lola is the first interior designer that I’ve worked with and doing so opened my eyes to how high-caliber projects are successful. She not only was able to help guide design choices when I was uncertain of my own taste, but she followed through with researching products down to the smallest details. She is extremely efficient and hardworking, and was also able to simultaneously fit my budget and add lots of character by finding second-hand furniture to mix in with new purchases. Overall her work took my already-renovated but empty apartment to the next level — every person that stays or visits immediately compliments the thoughtful design and decoration that Lola created.

It was great working with Lola she brought creativity, functionality and practicality to the renovation of our house. Lola met with us to get a feel for what we wanted. She listened to us and asked questions to help work out with her what we truly wanted. She gave ideas, shared photographs and links to designs, materials and fittings. Added to this is Lola's wonderful design instincts. We came to a design that we really love and would never have come to on our own. Lola knows her profession well and focused on the quality and functionality of the materials. As the kitchen was the main part of the redesign this was particularly important. She helped us understand the impact of choices of different material and how much care they would need to remain beautiful. Lola oversaw the works and followed up with attention to detail, checking back with trades people as needed. The end result is that following this redesign we have a home we really love and feel good about.

Lola worked on our house remodel project. She has a wonderful design sense! In addition, she is extremely thorough: she began by measuring everything in our house, including furniture; she provided SketchUp 3D models for us to consider; she took recommended materials that complemented the design; she suggested pertinent questions to ask contractors, appliance vendors, cabinet makers, etc. Her taste for symmetry, clean lines, and alignments resulted in a beautifully designed kitchen, master bathroom, and bedroom. We are extremely grateful for her design expertise and attention to detail!
