My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Longwell Interiors has provided excellent service on a range of projects from designing a bathroom from scratch to designing lighting and library shelves that transformed awkward space into warm and welcoming rooms. Jan has a great sense of color. She is very good at working with a clients existing furniture and rugs and making judicious changes and additions. She is a good listener and always willing to ii interpret a client's ideas into a harmonious design. Longwell is upfront on costs and delivers on budget. I look forward to working with Longwell Interiors in the future and recommend them who,eheartedly.

Best custom window shades ever! Jan totally ‘got’ our need for quality and subtlety. She ran interference for us when a piece of furniture came in damaged and resolved it to our satisfaction. Her design service is innovative and she completes the job beautifully from top to bottom.

Jan and Don are a great team! They worked with us to design a new, small cottage on Block Island based on an old tear-down: charming, but too far gone. We are thrilled with our plans, a combination of the best of what was originally there and fresh thinking about economy of space and elegance of proportion. The Longwells are excellent at listening and drawing out what is important to the client--making this a positive experience for us all.
