In 2025/26 we embarked on an outside/inside renovation of our home. Alpha Design Group and its owner, Lori McMurren grasped the project to include design, engineering, demolition, construction, and move in services. Impressive were: The seasoned stable of subcontractors that were timely, polite, courteous, and serious about quality work, all managed by Lori day to day; Lori's abundant construction knowledge, creativity, and problem solving skills usual to remodeling activity; The ADG staff with their deep bench of product resources and vendors that provided us with multiple options for inside and outside spaces; The ADG staff's organizational and presentation skills that guided us through the selection process and minimized faulty decision making. Lori and ADG were totally professional, friendly, patient and caring, abundant with smiles and delightful to work with. Our project was completed a little ahead of schedule and we are proud and pleased. Alpha Design Group would be our first choice should another renovation/design opportunity arise.

Lori McMurren and Alpha Design Group transformed my home! Lori was 100% relateable. She took my skattered ideas and helped formulate a plan. She had great ideas that just triggered a vision that I believe is truly me (and my husband). The beginning, planning and orchastrating all of the workers took the most amount of time. However, that was totally necessary for the work to get done at a nice pace. There was never down time once work began. Everyone was professional and did a fantastic job. There were no concerns or worries through the whole process. Lori was completely accessable and questions were answered quickly. I would highly recommend Lori to anyone. I love my home. It looks like a brand new home and one I love to come home to! Thankyou Lori! My house went from outdated to fresh and cohesive. The project included updating a 2000 staircase with hardwood and metal. Adding characteristics of a craftman house with a new front door and wall paneling. Adding hardwoods and staining and finishing original floors to tie in a modernized classic look that also tied in a kitchen remodel. New house lighting, window covers and house paint. accentuating a large wall into a beautify feature wall with grass clothe wall paper. She even added personality to a master bedroom. Lori helped with fabric ideas for upholstering an older chair and adding a beautiful area rug in a now cozy family room. One of the best things I have done for myself more recently is hire Lori McMurren of Alpha Design Group to design, organize and coordinate the renovation of my master bathroom. The finished room is absolutely gorgeous but, more importantly, the design is truly functional. I wanted a mostly handicapped accessible bathroom, in case it is needed in the future, and I am very pleased with the results. Lori’s coordination of the entire project was extraordinary, particularly how she communicated the schedule as well as worked with the many trades people involved in the project. When there were problems, she knew how to work through them and was always reassuring that everything would work out to my satisfaction. Everything did work out and I absolutely love my newly renovated master bathroom!! Thank you so VERY much, Lori!!

Lori had been amazing with her coordination of our ballroom and clubhouse remodel. She communicates daily with scheduling updates, and has assembled a tremendous team of contractors, who are all extremely professional, efficient and courteous. Lori was amazing from beginning to end. She had great ideas and really seemed to listen to what we wanted as a finished product. Her communication was almost daily, keeping us abreast of schedule changes, shipping delays and other issues as they came up. She was on the job most days in person. Her folks showed up and did their job with very little interruption to us. We are thrilled with our new bathroom and all of the smaller projects we asked for. We can highly recommend her and have to several friends who are now starting their own projects.

Lori and her design team and subcontractors made a project that felt a little overwhelming a completely organized and thoroughly managed success. Not only did she have a very detailed and outlined scope of the work and timeline but she managed it to a tee. I was continually impressed with her ability to figure out solutions when there was any obstacle or unexpected problem and we did have a few of them. She is wonderful to work with and will listen and bring your vision to reality. HIGHLY recommend her!

Lori is professional in every respect of the word. She has a great eye. She is attentive to clients needs and desires. She is EXTREMELY responsive. I have emailed her any number of times with issues that need quick attention and she is on it immediately.

Alpha Design's aesthetic sense for our properties separate her from previous designers that we have used. They are cost conscious, having completely changed a previously approved product selection that incurred a price hike prior to going to contract, resulting with staying on budget.

Lori is very talented and such a great professional to work with. I have collaborated with Alpha Design on several projects. They continue to be our designer of choice and we look forward to many more projects together.
