Generally, I avoid mixing business with friendship, but having known Leila for over 25 years and witnessing the incredible business she’s built, rooted in trust, honesty, transparency, and hard work, I made an exception. When my husband's Parkinson's disease began impacting his daily activities, I knew it was time to make some adjustments to our home, starting with the bathrooms. I chose Douglah Designs for the project because I wanted a "one stop shop" experience, without needing to invest a lot of my own time. Jessica Flemming, our designer, was absolutely fantastic! We had an amazing experience working with Jessica from Douglah Designs on our primary bathroom remodel. She was key in bringing our vision to life, completely reworking the floor plan to give the small space much better functionality. I wanted to take a moment to share how much Julie has helped with our project. While we are still finishing up with another design-build firm, our home would look completely different without Julie’s guidance. She has been a calm and expert resource for sourcing beautiful materials and has an excellent eye for design. During my recent kitchen renovation, I visited Luxe Home in Lafayette to explore flooring and backsplash tile options. The store is absolutely beautiful and has the most stunning selection of tiles. Julie, the designer, has a fantastic eye for design and was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. She made the experience so much fun! The kitchen turned out beautifully and is everything I had hoped for.
