Leonard was amazing in his ability to answer questions, make time for us even with other large projects and the holidays looming, and guide us towards other great constuction pros for building, since his focus is design and architecture. He saw our kitchen remodel with new eyes, and made structural and design suggestions that nobody else bothered to, to maximize the potential for the project. He has a really great eye for seeing change, and is a great communicator of those ideas. He heard our budget concerns, and met those concerns with realistic and solvable ways to still start to create a wonderful kitchen.

Len was great to work with. We were planning a major restoration of a 1930's craftsman bungalow. Len is not only responsive, professional and delivers on time/on budget, he is also a creative mind. Through his energy, drive and experience, he got us to think outside the box and envision a space greater than we would have otherwise. Truly and example where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. In the case - we were able to virtually gain space through creative placement of walk ways and decks. Our project is in flight, and we will have a showcase when completed. That is very much a thank you and a nod to Len. I would strongly recommend him. Thank you Len for all you do.

We have had an opportunity to work with Len with the recent remodeling of our house. Len designed my second floor addition and did a truly incredible job integrating the old and the new. I could not be more pleased with Len's work. Len was the designer hired by our general contractor on a major remodel we did on our house. We added a 950 sq. ft. bonus area and bathroom as a second story on a house originally built a single story. As far as the basics, he was always punctual and professional during the project. As far as design talent, Len really helped my wife and I work through what we knew we wanted and what was architecturally possible. He had a really good idea where to put the staircase after a couple of other locations were eliminated. The best compliment we frequently receive about the addition is that “it doesn’t at all look like an addition”.

Len is INCREDIBLE. Not only were my husband and I blown away by his design ideas, we also appreciated his punctuality, his professionalism, and his knowledge. When we met with Len we knew IMMEDIATLY that we needed him to design our addition. He had such vision for our bedroom and bathroom addition and patio that was unique from any other designer we met with. We initially thought when we were going to do an addition for the bathroom that we were going to have to increase our bedroom by the same amount, not even realizing that it would be more aesthetically pleasing to pull the bathroom out more than the bedroom to give us additional space and to save us money. We initially thought we would do a 1000sf deck off of our living room/ bedroom. Len had the great idea to do a rounded tiered concrete patio with planters to make our home look a little more high end, but also for the longevity of the patio. He completely transformed our house, we love it so much. We can't say enough good things about Len. If you haven't already, HIRE HIM!

Len designed a major remodel for our house in El Dorado Hills. First impressions are everything, and we were instantly impressed with Len's professionalism and design skills. He transformed our house from dark and dreary to bright and open. With any remodel there are always mid project changes and/or additions. Len was always readily available to come back and address any changes we wanted, and his design ideas always exceeded our expectations.

What Len offered was much more than simply drawing up some plans; he gave us insight that we never would have considered on our own. His vision for our home was exactly what we needed and the resulting floor plan is more functional, more logical and more beautiful than we had imagined. He was respectful of our wishes, but did not hesitate to offer advice and changes he saw were needed gleaned from his many years of experience.

My wife and I purchased our dream home and lot. We hired Len to come in and design our addition which incorporated our custom backyard. His insight, knowledge, vision and drawing abilities saved us thousands of dollars as his plans sailed through plan check. Knowing building codes is not only important it saved us thousands as his plans were extremely detailed and passed the first time. The attention is in the detail and he delivered. We hired Len Woehler and LR Woehler & Associates to completely renovate a 6000 sq. ft. 1920 Tudor in the heart of a Historic district in Los Angeles. As the head of a television studio, I look for certain qualities in the people I work with. Len proved to be professional, timely, and very responsive through phone and email. He listened to our needs and desires, and thoughtfully came up with a fantastic design that we are thoroughly pleased with. Len Woehler designed our 15,000 square foot dream home in 2005. He was able to successfully marry a stately East Coast Traditional design with our Southern California lifestyle. His attention to detail was amazing! He listened to what we wanted, he was very approachable and is one of the nicest guys out there! Len was easy to deal with in all respects. He listened to our ideas, provided really good advice and was very accommodating. He also communicated well with our builder. Retaining the architectural integrity of this Robert Byrd designed mid- 1940's French Country ranch home was exceptionally important to us, and Len did a fantastic job tying in the second floor addition to the original home. Inside and out he was able to match the form, finishes and flow. We have recommended him in the past to friends and acquaintences, and we will continue to do so.

We hired Len for a remodel of our living spaces in our 1985 home. Before the remodel, we had 4 tiny rooms and spaces that made up our tiny kitchen, an entry, a living room, and a formal dining room. When we met Len, we discussed making the living areas and tiny rooms into one large room, with different living spaces in that room. We also had a long wish list of items like a window seat with storage, a fire place, and a command center (and we didn't have a clue where all these would go). Len was able to take our vision and create EXACTLY what we wanted. The kitchen is the focal point of our home, and we love it - and it opens up to both the living room and the eating area. The island, which is the center of our kitchen, is our hub for all activities. Len incorporated the window seat in the kitchen, the fireplace in the eating area, and a command center into what looks like a closet (meaning I can close the doors and no one can see it!). When we have someone new visit our home, the first comment we get - always - is a compliment on the kitchen! Truly, it's was a dream kitchen and living space for us - and thanks to Len's vision, expertise and talent - it became a reality for us. Our next remodel project (bathrooms and bedrooms) will definitely involve Len! Did we mention that Len is also a really nice guy!! Can't say enough good things about Len and his talents!

Len Woehler built my dream house for my husband and me in the hills of Studio City almost 10 years ago. The design is beautiful, exactly how I envisioned it and it has stood the test of time. He is professional, creative, accommodating through multiple changes and revisions and works with you to get what you, the client, really wants.
