I worked with Lynda over zoom, telephone, and emails from another state. She has finely tuned this process. Samples were sent via mail. She tutored me along the way, carefully holding my virtual hand as she first helped my husband and I determine what we "really' wanted in our new home. Every choice was carefully curated by Lynda; flooring, cabinetry, fireplace stone and millwork, paint colors, area rugs, furniture, and finishing touches. We love our new space! Lynda's taste and warmth are evident here and it was a joy and comfort to work so closely with her! I highly recommend her services. Lynda Cherry drew us closer together and made our new house in Redmond a peaceful and life-giving home. We couldn’t imagine a more sensitive and empathetic interior designers. Lynda listened to what we needed as a family and translated it into design. The result was a use of soft color, natural elements and minimalist design that was a magnificent fit for us. Lynda Cherry was the Interior Designer for our house, The Arete, featured in the Parade of Homes in Northern Wasatch, Davis County, Utah. She helped us pick every piece of furniture, our paint colors, fabric, drapes....Everything! We worked with her on the design from the very beginning of our home. When finished, everything that made our home "The People's Choice" award winner was because of her expertise. I did a total refresh of my downstairs: living room, dining room, office, family room. I absolutely love how it turned out. I can't express enough what a great experience it was. There were a few pieces we wanted to keep and Lynda was so ready and willing to accommodate our wishes. Trust her. She knows what she is doing!! The third party companies she works with (electrician, painter, floor installer) were also fantastic and a pleasure to work with. Multiple times throughout the process she would say 'you're the boss.' She realizes it is your home and should feel like you- she takes the time to get to know you- and what she brings to the table reflects that. I will be calling on Lynda again to help me with other projects!

Lynda is a gem. My husband and I started the remodeling planning process in fall 2019 with the goal of a laundry room remodel in 2020, which turned into a complete basement remodel in late 2020…which finally began in January 2021. Lynda went the extra mile and stuck with us through thick and thin. She took on a couple of smaller interim projects - master bedroom and light touch up in living room - to give us some places with peace and tranquility while we waited for our main remodel. She understood our style and that we wanted something different than the typical beige and gray palette. Her designs and combinations pop and speak my language of functional and fun. The results are stunning. I highly recommend Lynda. She was so patient right along with us. It was all worth the wait.

Lynda was such a pleasure to work with in decorating the majority of our home. We initially had a different designer help us and weren’t satisfied with the outcome. Lynda was able to come in and learn our preferences and style and make each room beautiful beyond our expectations. She has a true gift and is so receptive to feedback and offers excellent ideas we wouldn’t have considered. We love our home and it finally feels like us! I would hire her again without reservation!

Working with Lynda has been an absolute joy from start to finish. I interviewed multiple designers and felt the most comfortable working with Lynda. She really got to know my husband and me, helped us define what our style is, and how we wanted our home to function. She asks insightful questions to truly get to know you and the end result of her design absolutely felt like us and made our house feel like a home. Lynda helped us with multiple areas of our home: kitchen, dining room, great room, and office. She helped define these spaces while also tying into a cohesive look. We still remark how much we love our furniture and décor. She also helped with artwork throughout other areas (some purchased, some photos that we had printed on canvas). Which really helped tie our home together. Lynda has so much experience, a wonderful eye for design and color, and is an expert at learning more about her clients to deliver a design that reflects their personality and wishes, she is organized, responsive, and detail oriented. She also has great contacts for customized pieces such as pillows, draperies, and built-ins (these are just the ones we used, I’m sure she has more). We would not hesitate to use her services again for future design projects.

My husband and I are very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Lynda on the first floor renovation of our home. The reno and design experience was new to us and thankfully, we were introduced to Lynda by our contractor. She was fantastic to work with, very responsive, warm and professional from beginning to end. She began by identifying what was meaningful and inspiring to both of us, learning how we used our home and our hopes for the design. Lynda brilliantly designed all of this into each room, creating warm, inspiring, and beautiful spaces that represent us in a very personal way. We also appreciated her great taste and experience when collaborating with us and our contractor to recommend functional and beautiful opportunities and solutions that fit our needs. The results are truly "us" and just gorgeous. We are looking forward to working with her again!

Lynda is an excellent interior designer, I don't know what we would have done without her. Early in 2020, we had to restore and remodel our first floor after water damage. My wife and I had a reasonable idea of what we wanted with our remodel, but were struggling with how to tie every room together so that it made sense as a whole. We attempted to start the process ourselves but we then reached out to Lynda. She was able to quickly understand the style we wanted, and also encouraged us to consider things that we normally wouldn't. She also stopped us from making a few fairly large mistakes (that we didn't realize it at the time). She picked out options for furniture and accessories and helped us along with her professional opinion as we made our final desions. The furniture she chose is of high quality, and Lynda is also budget conscious so we always felt we were getting very good value for our money. The end result is way better than I could have imagined. She truly captured our style and brought out our family's personality in each room. Lynda is awesome to work with, always energetic and positive. We are absolutely loving our new home and I'm still amazed at the transformation that Lynda gave it. We've been done with the project for several months now, and we still just love the feeling we get from being in the space. We will definitely be using her for future projects.

Recently I had the opportunity to meet and work with Lynda Cherry. She was down from Washington State to work with a long time family friend on their parade of homes project in Farmington Utah. I have been in this business for decades and have had the opportunity to work with many knowledgeable and talented Interior Designers but by far Lynda Cherry out shown them. Quickly I realized how well Lynda listens, as she presented the concept her clients were looking for very clearly. Then we went about selecting all the details it takes to build a beautiful home. My forte` is in the bones of the home and watching and listening to her as she pulled the entire "look" together, convinced me I was in the presence of brilliance. It was my privilege meeting and working with Lynda and now am able to call her "friend".
