I have been using Lyn's Draperies for many years in different homes with different needs. The workmanship is excellent, and Jen has given me wonderful advice on how the windows should be treated. I've used Lyn's Draperies twice for custom drapes and custom Roman shades. Their fabric selection is vast, and their design skills are fantastic. I recently moved into a new house and it had beautiful window dressings that had been designed by Lyn's Draperies several years ago. I wanted to continue with the same treatment for a few more windows. Even though the fabrics, etc. were no longer available, they were able to find complimentary fabrics and blinds that worked perfectly. I couldn't have been happier with their quality of work and attention to detail.

As a crowning touch to my home remodeling, I had planned to install silk damask on the tall accent wall of the living room. I got in touch with Jennifer at Lyn's Draperies, the store highly recommended to me by an experienced and knowledgeable professional, now retired. Since the silk I wanted had to come from the Rubelli manufacturers in Italy, Jennifer's valuable help was indispensable to the success of the whole undertaking: ordering the fabric, having it shipped express to a company in California to back the fabric with paper, locating installers (the nearest were in Seattle) who have the expertise to install something as difficult as this (a mistake would be expensive and disastrous). The results are stunning. The effect is every bit as beautiful and rich as I had hoped, and guests to the house are awestruck. The project is something I truly could not have managed to achieve without the help of Lyn's Draperies. Many thanks to Jennifer. I intend to engage her help again in future projects.

I was in a such a crisis trying to find the fabric I had wanted for my wedding dress for 13 years. I had ordered a poor substitute and when it arrived, it just wasn't what I had my heart set on for more than a decade. So in a pinch, Lyn's Draperies found and ordered my dream fabric, sent it via rush delivery, which arrived to the altelier Frankie & Maude in just enough time to make my dream dress. Jennifer was amazing and supportive to my own personal Bridezilla moment and met me 2-3 times to make sure I had what I needed. I would recommend their shop to everyone. I am certain they will do as much to make your upholstery vision a reality as they did for my wedding.

Lyn's Draperies is an excellent company to deal with. The staff are all very professional and take great care to produce quality draperies that are both beautiful and fuctional. I had them make silk drapes in my master bedroom and daughter's room and velvet ones in my son's room. When the vent was blowing up air underneath my drapes in my master bedroom, they found a great solution and came back to fix that problem. They also made form fitting outdoor seat covers for my Tommy Bahamas outdoor furniture. They are all labelled and have draw strings with zippers. The draw strings they thought of, because of all the wind on Lake Whatcom, they felt the draw strings would help the bottom stay closed better, and then the wind wouldn't rip the covers off. They really try to please and value repeat business tremendously. As a Canadian who lives in Vancouver, I was so pleased to find their professionalism so exceptional, and not what I usually find in small town Bellingham. Don't look any further. Lyn and Jennifer did a fantastic job of custom pillows for various rooms in our home including the master and guest bedrooms as well as the living room and TV area. They have a huge selection of fabrics and were able to quickly select potential fabrics based on color swatches and a few photos or descriptions I provided. They had a quick turn around time and the quality of their workmanship and overall professionalism was excellent.

I needed 20 shades for my new office. I contacted several local companies and waited for nearly a month for somebody to get back to me. I came across Lyn's Draperies. When I visited the store, Jennifer explained what was available, helped me pick the material, right away gave me an estimate, which was reasonable, and that same day drove with me to our office to measure the windows. When we returned, she placed the order. Two weeks later, we had shades in the office. I am very happy with the new shades, and I want to thank Jennifer and Lyn's Draperies for their professionalism and unmatched customer service. Lyn's Draperies is the best! I have used them from everything from designing and creating custom valances and shower curtains to simply hemming and lining drapes. They even helped me create a custom baby bassinet skirt! The work is perfect and gorgeous every time and they are so pleasant, timely, and professional to work with. I'll be a customer for life!

We had Lyns Draperies install grommets on our curtain panels. Lyn and Jennifer are extremely professional and talented. Our drapes were returned pressed and wrapped in plastic, so all I had to do was take them home and hang them. I would highly recommend this company!
