Maggie Stephens Interiors

We hire Maggie to help us decorate our living room, dining room, and family room after purchasing our home. She did a great job, getting a sense of what our style and preferences were and offering guidance and options that appealed to both my husband and me; she was also careful to work within our budget. She was professional and easy to work with, and we love the end result!

Maggie was a huge blessing when we first moved to our rental house! We were brand new to the area and had a lot of things going on personally and professionally. Getting our house to feel like a home was critical and time sensitive. Maggie was a fabulous collaborator-- I have a very specific style and aesthetic and she was able to help me marry old with new and California with New England. I had lots of style boards on pinterest that she helped me to refine and simplify and made the process very easy. and We were well set up in a few months. I very much appreciated how willing she was to work within my vision and ideas and I would partner with her again in a heartbeat!

The first thing that comes to mind about Maggie Stephens is: My husband also loves her work! I have worked with interior designers in the past, and Maggie is among the best, able to create a space in which both of us feel comfortable. My husband and I have been renting homes over the past few years, and we end up moving very frequently. We also have absolutely no idea what looks good in a room. Maggie took time to get to understand what we like and gave us options that would function well between rooms and homes as we needed. She has helped with selection of major pieces of furniture, art work, and the final touches to complete a room. On our first project together, we concentrated on the living room and master bedroom. Months later, we contacted her to design a nursery. I started to notice that each of the pieces in the rooms could be interchanged - I was so pleased to see that she really thought about our potential future needs. We are also really enjoying the art installations she helped us put together. Each piece was selected by my husband and me, which makes us feel really good when we look at it. With our busy work schedules, sometimes we would fall behind on getting back to Maggie on a decision. She has a very professional approach and helped us stay on track to complete the project in a timely manner. She also helped keep things simple when we needed help to move things forward. As we are in the process of finally purchasing a place to live, we look forward to working with Maggie in the future to implement some larger scale changes, no longer restricted by renting. Maggie was super easy to work with. She helped me spruce up my one bedroom apartment and I really like how she made excellent use of the smaller space that I inhabit. I felt very involved throughout the entire process. I was always given the choice between a number of different options for each area and always had the chance to veto anything that was too far out of budget or that I simply didn't like. I love that Maggie took inspiration from my personal tastes in order to specialize the design elements. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

We really enjoyed working with Maggie! She helped us design our living room, nursery, and my makeup room. I sent Maggie several inspiration photos and within a week or so she came up with a look book along with all the links to all the products. We especially like how Maggie found affordable furniture alternatives to meet our budget.

I worked with Maggie on my living room plan. While we liked most of the pieces, we struggled with the thing that ties it all together and makes a room comfortable. She went over room characteristics, existing elements, colors, and tastes and created a fantastic plan that incorporates the best of what we already have with some wonderful new pieces to save up for. We've been implementing her plan and our living room feels more us and a space we want to be in.

We hired Maggie as a design consultant for a large family/living room renovation/redecoration and we could not be more pleased with the results of the project. Her ideas are fresh and clever and the room is chic and beautiful, but feels like us! She listened to our needs and preferences and came up with a perfect room design that has not just met our requests for comfort and style but has far exceeded them. Maggie has been so wonderful to work with!! She has accommodated our style choices while expertly steering us to stunning results. She has also totally respected our budget. We are thrilled and could not recommend her more highly. She also gave us paint colour suggestions for other areas of the house which have turned out to be absolutely perfect. Maggie has an incredible eye for colour, design and scale and we will be turning to her for future projects.

Maggie has designed several of the rooms in my house. We are in love with each design and she made the process fun! She really takes the time to get to know the preferences of her clients, and she is able to offer solutions so each member if the household is happy. She even finds ways to get her clients to experiment with new choices. My rooms reflect the atmosphere I wanted and include some elements that I would not have chosen for myself, but that I absolutely adore. Thank you, Maggie Rose Interiors!
