We have a Persian rug that is over 100 years old that this team very promptly picked up, expertly cleaned, educated us about the rug, and delivered it to us at a fair price. Just based on the surface, I would recommend any rug being cleaned by them, but particularly if you have an old Oriental piece.

I had a wool rug that was badly sained. The folks at Main Street Rugs were not confident about their ability to remove the stain. We agreed to give it a try. The results were not that good. Mojan was more than fair in determining the fee for the time and effort. It's a pleasure to deal with people who are honest, cooperative and fair. I will definitely be back for rug repair and cleaning.

After two rug companies declined to tackle the stains on our Moroccan rug, I contacted Main Street. Although they made no promises, and the job took a while, they did a wonderful job getting rid of the stains. They were professional and friendly. I recommend them highly.

Main Street Oriental Rugs is a time traveling joy. To be there, surrounded by thousands of fine quality rugs, is to be in a souk --a bazaar in the Middle East. To browse -- rug to rug to rug -- is to immerse yourself in color, history, patterns, traditions. And to talk with Mojan, the proprietor, is to be swept away with tales of personal heritage and national legacy. A flying carpet wouldn't have been as much fun Oh, i forgot! The rug i purchased is a treasure that brightens my living room & my life.

This is the second time that I have had my Persian rug cleaned and repaired at Main Street Oriental Rugs. This time I needed someone to pick up and deliver the rug and they were able to accommodate that request quickly (actually the same day I called). Mr. Bagha and two helpers arrived promptly and carefully moved the rug out from under some furniture that I wasn't able to move. When the cleaning and repair were complete, again Mr. Bagha and a helper returned the rug and the pad that I needed and made sure that it was laid correctly. They also moved furniture back for me. I have had two excellent experiences with this business and I highly recommend them.

Mr Mojan Bagha of Main Street Oriental Rugs did a very thorough job repairing and cleaning my two antique Chinese rugs--the moth damage in one of them was terrible--but now the rug is fully repaired, cleaned and looks to be as good as new--undetectable areas of repair. He was also very prompt, pleasant and professional in all the pick up and scheduling arrangements. He made all the downstream issues resulting from this moth damage etc convenient and very easy to solve. I would highly recommend his business and for sure I will send any additional repair or cleaning work to his excellent business--Main Street Oriental Rugs.
