Overhead Door Co of Central Jersey

Scott M of Overhead Door company of Central Jersey came out today to fix one of three garage doors that would not close and was very wobbly in its movement. Scott immediately assessed the problem of not closing all the way with the safety eyes and then turned his attention to what was causing the back-and-forth movement of the door from the screw drive. A spring had broken on that door on one side, and instead of replacing the spring, since it broke at the very end, the homeowner (me) had simply reattached the spring. The problem was that the event had severely weakened the spring and causing the door to wobble from uneven springs on each side. With the approval he replaced both springs, pulleys, hardware etc. and the door is back to working as designed. Scott also informed me that the motor was 22 years old and would not last forever and we both agreed that with less weight on the motor I might be lucky and get a little bit extra time before it totally fails. Have used Overhead Door of Central Jersey for 22 years. (they did the original install when the house was new.) and they have always been honest with their recommendations, workmanship and pricing.

Door was installed by Keven. He was timely, professional and efficient. He was able to switch out the entire door, tracks and other mechanisms, within two and a half hours. Once he was completed, he showed his work and explained what he did. Everything was clean and properly working. Would use again in the future.

My wife and I purchased our home about three months ago. I wanted to replace our garage door openers for wifi capable models. I contacted Overhead Door Co. of Central Jersey as the previous owners had OHD doors and openers. I was given the price over the phone with no visit needed for an estimate. They had a cancellation and were able to come out the very next day. Keven arrived right on time and was upfront about how much time it should take him. The installation went smoothly. Our 25 year old garage door opener, originally installed by Overhead Door Co, became inoperable due to a broken spring. This happened late on a Friday afternoon and they were very helpful on the phone, and then scheduled a service call for Monday morning, June 5th. The service person, John, was outstanding. He was personable and upbeat, very quickly assessed the problem and concisely outlined the steps he would take to fix it. In addition, he was very helpful in directing the maneuvers necessary to get a car out of the garage so that he would be able to complete the repairs. He was professional and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. We highly recommend Overhead Door Co, and would certainly suggest that anyone in the Central Jersey area request John as their service person. I'm so sorry that I do not have John's last name or I would gladly share it.

I accidentally hit my garage door with my car and Carl was here within a few hours to provide and estimate and schedule my installation. The Installation team came in four days and installed 2 new doors, tracks and openers in a half day. The products are the best I've seen and the installation team was fantastic. They did an outstanding job. The doors are so quiet, you can barely hear them open and close. I completely recommend Overhead Door Co of Central Jersey to anyone in need of a new garage door or repair. These guys rock!

I experienced a spring failure on my very heavy custom overhead door on a Monday morning. They were able to diagnose the problem, fabricate the replacement springs, and have the entire process complete by 11 AM on Wednesday! Outstanding service, professional, and also quite reasonable
