We had Kitchen Concepts and Randy's Construction design and remodel our kitchen this summer. They told us at the beginning the project would take six weeks. It was completed right on schedule and we are very very pleased with the design and workmanship.

Hiring a professional for a remodeling job was a first for my husband and me - we had always done everything ourselves. From the beginning Marilyn walked us through every piece of the project, making suggestions to keep us within our budget, suggesting new ideas we hadn't considered to make the most of our small kitchen space, and opening up her studio to us any time we needed a second look at materials or had additional questions. The project was completed on time and within our budget. We love our new kitchen. I have and will continue to recommend Marilyn and her team to anyone who is considering a new or remodeling project - it was a wonderful experience for us!

I am the wife of a sub-contractor who installed ceramic tile for Kitchen Concepts. My husband, Tom, worked for and with them for almost 9 years on various jobs. He was always paid promptly and given notice of pending jobs well in advance of scheduling. The designer, Marilyn, is talented and creative however, never let her expertise and knowledge surpass my husbands' experience, detail and craftsmanship. She handled difficulties with clients well and professional. Her husband, Randy, is a contractor and skilled carpenter and Tom enjoyed working with him. This particular project I picked to use in this review was a kitchen and bath remodel. In floor heat, tile floors, shower, backsplash and a tile vent hood.

We hired Kitchen Concepts to remodel our kitchen/family room, foyer, laundry room, bathrooms, and bedrooms after we purchased our house last summer (2013). Not only was the design perfect, the actual execution of getting the project done was flawless. The team of sub contractors (electrician, plumber, tile, paint, drywall, etc.) that they use were all so very skilled and wonderful to work with. Marilyn and Randy are true professionals in every sense and highly recommend them to anyone. We look forward to using them again for our future projects!

We updated our 1970’s kitchen and fortunately found Kitchen Concepts to assist with the project. We wanted an island-- but did not know if that was possible in our 1950’s house. Marilyn came to our home and really listened to our thoughts. She offered her ideas but was always open to our wants and needs, as well as how the remodel would fit in with the rest of our house. Randy was prompt and thorough with the demolition and re-construction. He was even able to finish off our fireplace mantel, that adjoined the remodel, in such a way to make it fit in with the entire project. Both had great ideas and were very detailed-oriented professionals. They were able to add a personal touch that was very refreshing; from frequent phone calls to keep us updated, to stopping in one night just to check on the progress of our wood floor. It was little things like this that really impressed us. We never felt pressured to simply go with Marilyn’s ideas, we trusted her judgment on a number of items (like the microwave located in our island and the dark backsplash) and have no regrets. We absolutely L-O-V-E our new kitchen and would recommend Marilyn and Randy to anyone who has a new or remodel project.

Remodel....whole new endeavor for me! We had wanted to update the kitchen....bathroom and bring laundry room upstairs. Marilyn did an excellent job with giving suggestions, designs etc. She was always open to changing her thoughts and designs to what I felt I wanted and needed. She and Randy are great and fun to work with; very professional and open to my "stubborness"...:>) We are now moving on to two other rooms that were not in the plans, but I have been so pleased, I know they will turn out as beautiful and functional as the rest. They have a GREAT team to work with--electricians, plumbers, painter...all of them. And...to quote a dear friend of mine, he said, "I feel like I just stepped into a magazine!" We were very pleased with the high quality of the workmanship in our new kitchen. It's not only beautiful, but we were impressed with the functionality of the design. It's a pleasure to cook in! Marilyn did an excellent job of selecting materials to match our tastes and the project was completed right on schedule.

Marilyn has helped us with several projects over the years. We don't make a decorating decision without her input. If you let her know the basic direction of your remodeling job, she is great about narrowing down the choices with taste, fun, and flair! We have loved every redecorating and redesign job she has done for us, whether it was a bathroom, kitchen, basement, or sun-room. You won't be disappointed.

Marilyn was an instrumental help to us when we remodeled our kitchen. She is a master at listening to the client and delivering their vision. Her guidance with every aspect of the project made our dream kitchen come true. From color choices to beautiful cabinets (in our price range) to accessorizing and placing the cabinet drawer handles "in just the right position", every question was answered with care and respect for us. She was absolutely the BEST decision we made for our kitchen.

I could not be more pleased with the design of our new kitchen! Marilyn was able to recognize my style and design a kitchen that was functional, stylish and fit our needs. The two-leveled island is perfect for entertaining and food preparation. The choice of colors and materials created a warm, inviting kitchen perfect for family gatherings, conversations, and entertaining!

All I told Marilyn is that I wanted a purple contemporary kitchen with a long fireplace [that I saw in a movie.] Marilyn designed the perfect party kitchen and Randy made it all happen! Both Marilyn and Randy are creative and fun people. I enjoyed working with them - and now I enjoy my beautiful kitchen every day.
