Lionel had done some rennovation work for a friend of mine and it was really impressive, so I asked him to redo my kitchen and bathrooms and him and his team did an excellent job! Tuesday, the designer, made it really easy to describe what I wanted to do and convert that into a plan, and the construction team executed quickly and efficiently, from demo through to clean up! Really love the outcome and the new feel it has added to the house! Highly recommend using them!

We highly recommend Lionel and his team. We were not sure what to do with the first floor of our home: the flow didn’t work well for our family, and our options were constrained due to property lines and structural support requirements. Lionel and his team helped us come up with a design that was better than we thought possible—and then delivered. They opened up the house, turned our small kitchen and dining room into a beautiful great room, updated the powder room and laundry room, and replaced our old windows and siding. It turned out gorgeous! The team was easy to work with, and their contractors were polite and hardworking. Dan Martinez went above and beyond to help resolve issues and ensure everything was delivered beautifully. We are thrilled with the final result and want to say thank you to their entire team!

We engaged Martinez Construction (MC) as the general contractor to convert our attached one-car garage into a new room according to architectural plans completed previously. We accepted MC’s proposal in March 2017 with the project being completed in December 2018. The work of all the subcontractors on the project was very professional and well done. During the course of the project, we made a number of changes and added features, such as a bead-board ceiling, which satisfied our tastes in décor and met our needs for functionality. In addition, some electrical work that had been done prior to our engaging MC was upgraded and corrected. Lionel was understanding of our desires and did his best to satisfy them. He also let us know when something could not be done and was very timely in telling us and obtaining our approval for changes in the cost of the project as it progressed. The subcontractors he hired to work on our project were (for the most part) very professional. If there was a problem, such as the gutters being the wrong color, Lionel made sure the problem was corrected. The electrician did an especially good job in picking up where the previous electrician had left off and, as mentioned previously, corrected some shortcomings of the previous work. Lionel also was instrumental in completing our detached garage through hiring a carpenter team and also correcting some substandard work done by the previous contractor. He went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied with the work done and the final result. Working with MC was a good experience for us with the final results exceeding our expectations.

Lionel is a true professional. He did a porch renovation for me this year and it was done with a high level of quality. His attention to detail is outstanding. My project was relatively small in comparison to the new homes he builds or larger renovation projects but he still gave me the attention when I needed it. I would recommend Lionel for future work on anyone's project.
