Maru was great to work with and helped my husband and I focus in on the vision we wanted for our basement face lift. We struggled to make decisions and the boards that she created allowed us to be able to make carry out the process on our own while providing us guidance. She took the time to listen, to our overall vision and really study our home to get a feel of our style. Thank you Maru!!

On our first meeting Maru came in and took specific notes of our family's needs and wants for our space. Maru's design boards and recommendations were exactly what our spaces need. She found ways to encompass our current colors and furniture and suggested ways to meld our dining room and living room and make them inviting and useful. The best recommendation I can give is that my 15 yr old was head over heels with the designs and was ready to go shopping (this kid hates shopping!)

Maru did an absolutely fantastic job on two separate projects for us. First, she was hired to design and decorate our daughter's nursery, and because her work was so great, we hired her again to design our daughter's playroom (which started as an unfinished portion of our basement). Both projects exceeded our expectations by all measures, and we continually enjoy them on a daily basis. The playroom has several architectural highlights which were quite challenging, including a raised stage and various lighting details. She took our visions and turned them into realities, and for that, we are especially grateful. Without doubt, she has our highest recommendation.
