Marylou has been absolutely amazing to work with! She was able to get all of the features I wanted into my new kitchen & mudroom while far exceeding my expectations! She has a great sense of design and knew how to blend some of my existing furniture with brand new pieces. Marylou is an incredibly talented sewer too who created gorgeous window treatments and pillows throughout my entire house. She stayed within my budget without compromising quality or style. Marylou was my first experience with a designer. I was nervous in the beginning but she quickly put me at ease. She is very down to earth and immediately made me comfortable. She listened to what my vision was for my space and the budget I had to accomplish it. My entire home was redone, new floors, bathrooms, kitchen and all new furniture. A complete remodel

Wow wow wow. I wish that there were an option for 10 stars. Marylou went ABOVE and BEYOND in the execution of our project. Most importantly she was VERY cognizant of our budget and applied her expertise to deliver the most bang for our buck possible. She knew the right tradespeople, and has deep and meaningful relationships with everyone she works for. It really was amazing to see the respect and care that was put into the project at every step. At the end of the day we ended up with a custom den that was perfectly suited to our needs. She was able to address lighting/electrical, carpentry, paint/wallpaper, and furnishings in way that really brought the whole room together while (have I said this before?) STAYING ON BUDGET!!! I recommend her wholeheartedly. For additional context, we unfortunately had to move just a few months after the project was completed. Now, in our new home, we are working with a designer on a similar project and all I can think at every step of the way is "Why couldn't Marylou be here to help us?"

We renovated a 7000 sq ft mansion in JP and she infused it with personality and took care of the details that we would have missed. We completely rehabbed 5 baths as well as a master bath/closet and an entertainment room. replaced the knob and tube and put in all new ceiling lights and sconces throughout to bring it back to to its original majesty. Not only did she have the vision but understood our needs. She never tried to lead us somewhere we did not want to go or try to up sell us. Marylou was cognizant of our budget despite the daunting task of accomplishing a large reno on a short time line. She is great with the big vision and the small details (i.e., picture hanging, curtains, paint and fabric colors, etc) as needed. She also coordinated our contractors as we did not have a general contractor (we hired two contractors to complete the reno faster). We would recommend her a thousand times over.

Marylou has been a huge help in transforming our new house in Lexington to a special and beautiful home. I found her name via Houzz and hired her to design and decorate my living room. I had already purchased a couch and love seat, but was stumped as to what else to do in the room. The room is a bit awkward, being large, with a fireplace against wall that is flanked by open doorways leading to an office. There seemed to be a lot of unused space in the room making it difficult to decorate. Marylou listened to my desires and worked with me to achieve a space that is both beautiful and comfortable. I love it and I loved working with Marylou!! Based on the success with my living room, I’ve asked Marylou design our family room space. I’m excited to hear her ideas and to get moving with a transformation of that space including new furniture and new wall color. We were under a time crunch but Marylou was able to get all 4 floors completely furnished and beautifully pulled together on schedule and on budget. I was not convinced that we would ever use that room since our family room sits just off the living room and has the television. Boy was I wrong. We now congregate more in the living room than any other room because Marylou made it so comfortable. We will be using Marylou in the future to redecorate our girls bedrooms.

Mary Lou helped me redecorate a LR/DR in a home that my parents left me. She repurposed the furniture in a very sophisticated chic way. She captured exactly what I wanted.
