I’d highly recommend working with Mary for your design projects! She is thoughtful, thorough, and easy to communicate with. We appreciated the detailed questionnaire she sent prior to our in-home consult, which helped us prioritize our ideas and raised important considerations we hadn’t thought of yet. Mary was incredibly helpful and friendly during our home visit and jumped in right away with ideas for furniture arrangements, decor, and color design in our new home. She answered all of our questions and relieved much of our stress about the decorating/designing process. We would definitely work with her again for home design projects!

More than anything, Mary listened! She heard what we wanted to do, what our style was, what we were hoping to achieve, and it was an amazing experience. Mary was fantastic in helping us solidify a vision and design for a fireplace replacement and surrounding wall remodel. Mary was fantastic! She helped me brighten up the living room in my town house using the materials and furnishings I already had, and she also gave me great advice about what lighting and painting changes would complete the refresh. She also saved me a lot of money by guiding me away from making poor (and expensive) choices and guiding me towards working smarter with what I have. Mary helped us pull our ideas together for a kitchen refresh. We had chosen material for a counter top and she resourced tile to complement the overall look. She was especially instrumental in helping us choose paint colors for our cabinets and walls to pull the entire look together.

I hired Mary to help us pick an exterior color palette for our new home after reading her great reviews on Houzz. After working with her, I can say that she is the real deal! I wanted a color scheme that would work with our home’s modern architecture but would still have a timeless look and feel. Mary asked me to send her some inspiration pictures, and I could tell she put real effort into thinking through which colors would best achieve my desired goal. She was very detail oriented and made sure we had all the right colors for the exterior including aspects we hadn’t thought about, like the wooden steps in our backyard. Throughout the entire process Mary was very communicative, friendly, and a pleasure to work with!

I met with Mary for a 2 hour consultation to give me advice on bringing a newly purchased 1989 home up to date. We went over all the samples I brought of quartz, flooring, tile, and she helped me select the ones that would be best to combine my style with the architecture of the home. We contacted Mary to help with our open-concept living area renovation project, which included the entryway, powder room living room dining room and kitchen. We knew how we wanted the space to look and feel, and we wanted to have full control over the project. However, because our space is on the smaller side, we definitely needed some professional advice about layout, lighting, space use, and how to make everything tie in together. Mary was the perfect answer! During our initial call Mary listened and succinctly summarized our needs and wants. We decided to move forward with a Design Consultation and sent Mary links to our living room Pinterest board as well as a whole list of questions we wanted to work through during our consultation. Mary came to the meeting with printouts of Pinterest designs she thought would work best for our space and we worked through our list of questions. One of the most amazing aspects of our meeting was that Mary never tried to change our ideas, but took them to the next level and ensured that both my and my husband's needs were met and our ideas incorporated. Mary also gave us advice about what items we should splurge on and where we can save some money. At the end of our meeting Mary shared information about professionals and companies she has worked with in the past that have delivered great results. By the time we met with Mary we have already talked to a number of contractors and just didn't feel confident about any of them. In the end we signed with a contractor Mary recommended. We are so happy we found Mary. She is so knowledgeable, so great at listening to her clients' needs, and goes above and beyond with her services. We will definitely contact her again for our design needs!

Mary came in towards the end of a full house remodel to help pick up the pieces from a previous designer that wasn't working out for me. She rapidly helped me through the remaining choices needed for the contractor and then in a more leisurely fashion on furniture, art, and layout. She was very accommodating to my needs and working style and really helped finishing the house into something I'm thrilled with.
