Josh and his amazing team built our long awaited outdoor patio with fire pit. We could not be happier with the finished product! We cannot say enough about the professionalism that Josh exhibits. He is communicative and timely. He worked with us as we tweaked the design he presented us and gave numerous suggestions with thoughtful, informative reasoning behind his ideas. He was flexible with us when, on the first day of excavating, we realized we needed to extend the size of the patio by a few feet- no problem at all. He kept the job moving and finished within his estimated timeline of one week. We would 100% hire him again in the future and would confidently recommend him to anyone looking to create a great outdoor space.

After we decided to put in a pool last summer, we knew we wanted a paver patio and a friend recommended Mass Hardscapes. We met with Josh last summer and discussed the project. We had some ideas of what we wanted to include and he was able to put them into a design and elevated it just that much more as if he could read our minds. He added lighting and plantings and created the perfect backyard oasis. We spoke to a few other contractors and no one was as knowledgeable or as personable as Josh. He was willing to meet with us multiple times, answered all of our questions, and his estimate was the most detailed we had received. We felt confident that Mass Hardscapes would give us just what we wanted and booked them for the spring. Even while the work was proceeding, Josh made last minute changes/additions without hesitation and kept us updated on the progress. The crew was great too — always cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day and meticulous in their work. I am picky. Slightly beyond picky. So, of course I interviewed about 19 companies before deciding on Mass Hardscapes for my front steps and walkway. Why did I choose them? Because they had great reviews, they didn't try to scrape my wallet dry, and because Josh seemed honest, knowledgeable and understanding. I was all over the place with what I thought I wanted - he listened to me, made some suggestions, and we worked together to make my vision into reality. Mass Hardscapes installed a stone walkway at our home last week. Joshua Jones and his crew started at the agreed-upon time, finished the walk quickly, and they removed all debris when they left. The walk is beautiful! When Joshua suggested a two-color walk, using grey and brown stone, we were skeptical at first, but we were very happy with the result. Friends and neighbors have made positive comments about the walk. I would recommend Mass Hardscapes for any custom walkways, patios and other projects.

We love our new patio and walkway from Mass Hardscapes. Josh was very communicative from the start. He was great about answering questions and making suggestions so that the project fit our budget. What made Mass Hardscapes stand apart from other contractors was that Josh didn't ghost us once the contractors arrived. Mass Hardscapes turned an aging 30 year old brick paver pool deck into an attractive backyard escape that leaves an impression on anyone that visits. When I met with Josh for the first time, I knew that he was the right person for the job. His knowledge and professionalism was apparent from the beginning. Josh is a Unilock certified contractor, which gave me confidence that his company would be able to handle a job of this magnitude, particularly with installing coping around an oval shaped pool. I was provided with a detailed proposal that included a project timeline, cost breakdown, and a design sketch. Once the decision was made to move forward, Josh kept me informed throughout the project and also coordinated with another company that renovated the pool prior to the installation of the deck. The craftsmanship of measuring, cutting, and leveling the pavers is clearly shown in the finished product. Any time I had a question or concern about the work details, Josh always addressed it in a courteous and timely manner. Plus the five year warranty on the construction and installation is the longest amount of time offered compared to the other companies I looked into. Now my family has a beautiful summer retreat to enjoy for many years to come. I highly recommend Mass Hardscapes for your next outdoor living project.

Mass Hardscapes installed two new patios, a sitting wall, built in bar and walk way. Also installed were lights, landscaping and a putting green. Josh and team did an AMAZING job on our backyard. Josh and his team installed a pool patio with sitting wall, lighting and a waterfall feature. From the design phase to prep work and construction, Josh was punctual,professional and transparent with the schedule. He was always responsive to our questions and changes we made along the way.
