We have been settled in our remodeled home since early Summer and we could not be happier with how everything come out. We love the extra space, the layout and all the details throughout the house. We hosted a Xmas party this past weekend for a large group of friends and we received so many compliments! I’ve always wanted to throw big parties and the work that Tony and his crew did allowed me to do just that! I am so appreciative of the partnership Tony showed us throughout this whole project. It was a big project that took almost a full year and Tony remained on schedule, even as we added a bunch of items to the project. We lived in the house while under construction with 4 young kids and while it was not easy, Tony and his crew made it as bearable as it could have possibly been. Everyone was very skilled, respectful, friendly and communicative. I love everything about the house now and appreciate the honest feedback Tony gave us on what would work and what wouldn’t and in particular how honest he was regarding areas where we were possibly overspending. That feedback always made us more comfortable because it showed that Tony had our best interest at heart.

Mayo Construction did an addition on our 1930-era house that roughly doubled its size, but the addition dovetails very nicely with the original house. More recently we hired Mayo a second time to completely gut and renovate two bedrooms in the old part of the house. In both cases Tony and his men did a terrific job, they stuck to the timetable for completing each phase of the work, and the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes we had received. Tony is easy to work with and is a very creative problem solver. We would highly recommend Mayo and Tony. Note: The project cost listed in the survey is the combined cost of both projects. We recently had renovations done by Mayo Construction. We are very pleased with the work that was done. Enjoyed working with Tony Walsh who was helpful in making decisions regarding materials to use. The workers were great, and kept their work areas clean. Would definitely hire Mayo construction in the future if the need arises.

Mayo Construction installed a new front entrance way, re-shingled the house, re-trimmed the original windows, installed new brick/stone front steps and re-painted the entire house. Tony (owner) is extremely courteous, professional and reliable. The work was carried out to time and budget and the results were excellent. We have used Mayo Construction for 15 years for many renovation projects from a large addition to bathroom renovations. Tony and his crew are hardworking, reliable and honest. Our initial project in 2001 was a large addition that included kitchen, bathroom, family room and porches. After that experience, we knew that for any future projects we would use Mayo Construction. We just finished (2015) 2 bathroom renovations, walk-in closet and major repairs caused by ice dams. Tony and his crew stayed with us, navigating through many issues caused from the winter of 2015., Tony is honest, he's been in business a long time, he is always available, he sticks to his timeline, and his pricing is extremely fair. The highest praise I can give is that I will continue to use Mayo Construction going forward.
