Thank you Rick for our wonderful "eclectic" lake house :) It is truly a dream come true! There is no hesitation in recommending Rick for any project! His eye for detail is above and beyond. All of his sub contractors were wonderful as well! They were all professional, punctual, kind and great to work with. We were in our new house--from tear down of old cottage to rebuild--(with a few unforeseen delays) in less than a year. It really was remarkable to watch! His team is just...GOOD! He knows how to coordinate all the details to keep the project continually moving forward. Can't thank you enough!!

Rick and his team recently renovated a master bathroom in my home over the winter. Rick adhered to all agreed upon schedules and performed this work with minimal disruption. His contractors were all first class and provided us with the fit and finish that we were hoping for. This work truly transformed our home. I would recommend Morris Custom Homes for any renovation.

Rick did a great job when building our home. Excellent quality . He finished on schedule and always addressed our concerns. We would not hesitate to hire him as a builder in the future.

Rick and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. My parents were elderly and wanted an addition done so they could remain in their home (downstairs bedroom, bath, etc). The original cost was a gazillian dollars and Rick actually took the time to sit with them and explain cheaper alternatives, which included the possibility of selling and having a more appropriate home built. He never pressured them into a costly build. If anything, he talked them out of the original plans due to the extensive cost and time. In the end, my Dad became sick and passed before completing the project. Rick and his team finished off the work so that we can sell the home and not have it look like an unfinished project. And he even attended the memorial. He treated us like family and I appreciate that he looked out for my parents and kept them from making bad financial decisions. Also, the work that was done was top notch. I couldn't have asked for more.

My husband and I were going to build our dream house 2 years ago but the cost of supplies took a dramatic hike. Rick sat down with us and went over the house plan of our dreams and invited us to his own house to show us examples of his beautiful home and workmanship to give us ideas of what we would like . We had to tell Rick we could not build at the time due to the hike in construction materials. Rick kept us in mind and contacted us a year later and showed us a house he built . First of all , Rick did that out of the thoughtfulness and mindfulness of his heart and our needs and style. Rick had us do a walkthrough of the house and let us know that this house was in our budget . My husband and I loved the house that we toured ! With Ricks help and a few modifications we were able to make it our own dream home. Rick worked with us 100% of the way and he kept us in our budget . Rick built our dream house and was a pleasure to work with . When you are building a home with Rick he stays mindful of your family, needs, and your budget ! Throughout the process of building he keeps you well informed and communicates very well. We can say that we checked with two other builders prior to hearing about Rick but they were not comparable. When we explained and expressed what we would like to add and change to our original home on the same property. Those builders stated it would not be worth it , just build new. When we met Rick and he came to our house he took the time to adequately explore and explain the options. He explained to us that he could do the additions we were talking about but in the end for what it would take far outweighed what we could gain. With that in mind we decided to start our journey of building Our Dream Home for our growing family. If there is a builder you are looking for to remodel into a new or starting fresh in the end like we did after Rick throughly explained our options. Rick Morris Is your BUILDER !

Morris Custom Homes put on a new deck with a beautiful black rail and converted our pantry to a small laundry room. Rick did an excellent job coordinating all the necessary professionals and everything was done on time and turned out fantastic! I would highly recommend them for any job

We had a complete basement remodel done and couldn't be happier with how things turned out. Rick was very helpful in providing guidance as to what could be done / made sense to do given the scope of the project. His crew was very flexible when dealing with some "interesting" things found during the project and was very good about correcting issues that we encountered. We felt as if our project was treated in the same way that Rick would treat his own property, which made us very comfortable. We know this wasn't the biggest project he had going but we never felt that way. I would recommend Morris Custom Homes and would definitely hire them again if the need arises.

Rick did a wonderful job converting our plans to our beautiful new home. His patience with the multiple vendors and their shortage of help making a difficult build even more challenging. Rick continued to address our concerns through the process, and we are so happy with the end result.

Morris Custom Homes finished a room and storage closet in our basement with a built in bookshelf and cabinet. Rick is very professional and paid attention to detail in order to complete the job to our satisfaction. We later requested a few extra finishes including countertops and vanity drawer in which he quoted and completed in a timely manner. Morris Custom Homes of Fenton, MI recently completed an addition to our existing home. The addition consists of a cozy family room with fireplace and a two-car garage. Even though most of the work took place during the corona virus pandemic, it progressed at a satisfactory pace. The quality of the materials and workmanship are excellent and we are very happy with the end result. Rick Morris and his workers were always dependable and congenial.
