I was introduced to Mitch Shepheard of MDS remodel through David Heide Design Studios. They chose Mitch to work on my 1940 historic home in Minnetonka for remodeling and restoration. What started out as an average house remodel turned into quite an extensive remodel due to my adding on to the project, and Mitch was there every step of the way. The craftsmanship and the detail that Mitch and his crew put into my home Is absolutely beautiful. Mitch was there to answer any questions and gave me great advice as the project moved along. My kitchen is stunning, the fireplace is unbelievable, the wood floors are amazing, and I could go on forever. The icing on the cake is my home is going to be featured in This Old House Journal this fall!

I hired Mitch to do some minor upgrades and a floor re-finishing. He was very easy to work with, accommodating and pleasant. He ws patient with re-scheduling when some materials I ordered arrived with incorrect parts, and his crew were always friendly and helpful. I would be happy to use him again.

We hired MDS Remodeling for a home update that included refinished wood floors, new tile, lighting, paint, and wallpaper. Mitch and his team could not have been more pleasant and professional. We were referred to MDS Remodeling by our electrician who we hired to do a complete demo and rewiring of our kitchen after it was discovered that the prior owners of the property had done a grossly illegal remodel. Since the project was undertaken on an emergency basis, time was of the essence. MDS came through for us, performing quality work in a timely manner. They coordinated their work well with our electrician throughout the project, which was also essential. We appreciate their good work.

Mitch and his team were great to work with! In just 8 weeks they were able to turn 1 (very) dated bathroom into a beautiful main floor bath and a separate master bathroom! Right away Mitch was very clear about project expectations, cost, and timeline. Throughout the process he communicated about what was happening week by week, worked with us on design updates, and threw in recommendations when they were appropriate. I hired this company with a deadline date for an upcoming wedding. MDS told me it was possible but that it would have to move along to be completed by Nov 1st. Once the project began which included removing wallpaper, painting, demolition of two bathrooms, then replacing with new cabinets, floors, shower etc. The subs came in turn to keep the project going. Anytime I placed a call to the contractor, I had a response the same day. I changed things from time to time without a problem and full compliance was achieved. The project was finished on time. I am completely satisfied with the project and results. Based on my experience, I would recommend MDS to anyone seeking timely high quality work, excellent rapport and honest quotes and expectations.
