Medford Design-Build

We've engaged Medford to handle 2 projects for us now. The first was an upgrade of my daughter's bathroom after a plumbing related flood. The second was after, ironically, another plumbing issue in our master bathroom. The team could not be more amazing! Everyone on the team from ownership down has been incredibly professional, flexible and gracious. We had large delays in the start of our larger gut rehab of the master bath because the project ended up far exceeding our insurance proceeds and we needed push the start date back to make sure we had the funds to complete. The Medford team worked with us and helped value engineer the project in order to make it work. In the end we couldnt be happier with the final product! The design process was efficient and Stephanie had great ideas to make our vision for the space come to life. We ended up making a change along the way in our shower and Michael and team pivoted quickly to present us with an option that didn't delay us at all. Kourtney kept us on track with funding, answered questions along the way and was a sympathetic ear during the process. We also were kept abreast of progress with daily emails and felt comfortable raising questions or concerns along the way as a result. I've found Medford's workmanship to be top notch. They are incredibly thorough and their punchlist is truly comprehensive to ensure quality. The build quality is excellent and I've not noticed any material fit and finish issues. Scott and his team were all over every construction work here and if anything was off, it was addressed right away. No issues with doors swinging, paint chips, tile work (and it was extensive!) or any of the plumbing. We have a large amount of sprays and shower heads and water pressure has been fine even with everything on at once. I've even been impressed with little details like toe kick lights or cabinet lighting or outlets under our sinks for electric toothbrush charging that we wouldn't have thought of. Finally, I found Medford's cost for value created to be very good. The 2 projects worked in our budget and even with the value engineering, we don't feel like we compromised at all. If you have a home project I highly recommend this team! We feel strongly enough that we expect to work with Medford on future updates to our kitchen and outdoor kitchen.

Medford did a wonderful job on our primary bathroom we love it! Everyone was so easy to work with . All of our goals were achieved I will be working with them again.

My husband and I hired Mike Guys to do two projects within the last year. The first project was a heavy kitchen refresh with new flooring, Quartzite countertops, new backsplash, and 2 new cabinets. One of the cabinets replaced our desk in the kitchen and was rebuilt as a butler’s pantry. The other cabinet over the refrigerator was replaced with an all new cabinet that built in our new refrigerator. The new cabinets matched our existing ones exactly and looked like they have always been there. Our kitchen is greatly updated now and we love our new appliances! The second project was a refresh of our family room with new built in cabinets, new marble mosaic tile around the fireplace with corresponding marble hearth. We also used some of the Quartzite left over from the kitchen refresh to replace the old granite on our powder room vanity and replaced the tile with a very pretty marble look tile. Mike’s Guys did a wonderful job on both projects in a timely and professional manor. We highly recommend Mike’s Guys or Medford Remodeling for your next home decorating project!

We are delighted with our new kitchen! From design to product selection to implementation to completion, every step of the process was performed by talented professionals who care about their work and want to make sure we are pleased with the results. While I had a fairly clear idea of how I wanted our kitchen to function, I had no confidence in my design sense. Fortunately the design team at Medford could help with that. From floor plan to cabinet design to colors and materials selection, Stephanie, Brandy, Morgan, and Kourtney led me through the process, always with an eye to how every detail would work together. I am especially grateful for all the email discussions with Stephanie and Kourtney, which helped me feel more confident in my choices and taught me so much. All the design details were compiled in a binder kept on site throughout the remodel, which the workmen referred to as needed. There were a few bumps along the way of course, but at every turn our project manager Dave was there to smoothe them out. He kept the project on or ahead of schedule, even during the pandemic and the Big Freeze of February 2021. Each day Dave emailed a summary of the work completed along with a list of what was to be done in the next day or so. Special thanks to carpenters Scott and Greg, whose talent and skill are reflected in their fine workmanship. Medford's subcontractors are excellent as well; we were especially fortunate in electrician Kyle and his team and the painting crew led by Miguel. Each sub wanted to make sure they understood what we wanted and that we were happy with the work. And we are! About the pandemic. Of course we realized undertaking a remodel in this time could mean delays. The backsplash tile fell victim to that, stuck out on a ship somewhere for months and months. We were resigned to a long wait. But Stephanie kept checking on it and apparently kept her eyes open. I guess that's how she happened upon a gorgeous tile that would work perfectly in our kitchen, and it was available now! Just one example of how Medford helps you know that "the hairs on your head are numbered." It is such a pleasure to work in our bright and beautiful kitchen. We look forward to working with the Medford team again.

Medford was great to deal with from the start of our remodel until the end. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. Communication was terrific as they always kept us updated via texts and emails and our concerns and questions were always answered promptly. Our 10 year old kitchen, bathrooms and floors now have a beautiful new look thanks to the Medford team!

We had a super large and heavy mirror put up above our fireplace. Mike's Guys came on time and were very efficient and professional. I know that mirror is not going to budge. We really appreciated the fine job Mike's Guys did on this project.

I am so happy! Medford remodeled my medium sized master bathroom this past summer and every time I walk in it, I get a little thrill. They were amazing to work with, from designing to the actual building. So happy I picked them!

The Medford Design Team was everything we wanted in a company. They gave us a price and a time frame of 3months for a huge remodel. We worked closely on design needs and wants with Kourtney, design and purchasing, and Stephanie the designer. Before the first wall came down all of our appliances, paint color, tile, backsplash, hardware and fixtures had been purchased and delivered. Every morning at 9 am Dave our lead man and about 5 skilled workers arrived at our home. They would work nonstop until evening often asking to work after hours. It is hard to get upset with people who are working at 100% and demanding perfection of their work. At the end of each day Dave would send us an email outlining the day and a outline of what tomorrow would look like. We feel Blessed to have found this group of professionals that are fair, honest and true craftsman that take pride in their work. J&J Rumley

Medford has been great to work with! We are new to the area, and needed to have pictures and mirrors hung a few months back. They were positively recommended by a neighbor on nextdoor.com. Great staff compiled information about our needs, and scheduled a crew based on my comments. Today, Neil came out for a second install of additional items - and he did a great job again! He is professional, courteous (because I am terribly indecisive), and never leaves behind a mess. Kourtney follows up with an email and receipt within hours of completed work. We have been very pleased with the group at Medford!

Best remodeler in tarrant co. Felt like they were family front the get go. They built a shed, added a covered patio, remodeled two bathrooms and about to do my kitchen.

After a horrible experience with the company hired for our kitchen remodel (including theft of all the doors!), we were wary of Medford's despite the good recommendation from our neighbor. Mike made us comfortable on our first meeting and never let us down; provided his company's bona fides, a detailed pricing breakdown, and work schedule. We actually added a bathroom redo because of the trust established. The work met and exceeded our expectations. Details we had not considered were taken care of; little additional details not included in our contract were done without extra charge. The office staff, Courtney and Alysa were always available for questions and concerns. Courtney provided ongoing financial data, so no surprises. Communication through email, text and phone was excellent. And Mike did a nice marriage counseling/paint mediation job, too!

I drove past Medford Remodeling and was curious what kind of projects they had worked on. I pulled over and reviewed their website. I could tell they had a nice representation projects so I inquired if they needed photography services. After several conversations, they had a completed project that needed to be photographed. I had seen some of the "before" shots they had taken as well as the computer renderings before the scheduled shoot. When I arrived on location, I was really impressed with the final results. The homeowner had shared with me that they had been working with another company and were having some problems and that's why they selected Medford Remodeling. After viewing the well thought out designs and viewing the fine craftsmanship in person, the decision to hire Mike and his team was clearly the right one. The process from start to finish while working with Medford Remodeling (photographing a completed project) was very smooth with no snags.
