This is our second time choosing Bob & Melody with Distinctive Homes to do work on our home. They make the entire process so easy. They are routinely on site making sure work is done correctly and on time. Not to mention, they are two of the most friendly people I’ve ever worked with. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Before and after photos of recent exterior work are included.

Our grandson is a wheelchair user, and for some time we'd been contemplating adding a ramp to our 70+ year old home for when he comes to visit. We wanted something that would feel like a natural part of the house. While we were at it, we thought about adding pavers around the back so our grandson could easily get back to the porch. We've never done a renovation on this scale. We called Bob and Melody and they guided us through the entire process - choosing an architect, helping make design decisions - and they made our vision come true. They worked with us so that we could get the most from our budget, and we are thrilled with the result. The project was complete right on schedule. The subcontractors who they used were always on time, reliable, respectful of our property, and they did incredible work. We couldn't be happier. I recommend Distinctive Homes without any reservation.

Bob and Melody were a delight to work with on our project. From our initial discussions and vision, through design and architecture they listened and provided feedback. The drawings, planning and budgeting were always reviewed and discussed in great detail. Once the work began after the permitting, the schedule was adhered to perfectly and with each phase and work day, the subs arrived on time and completed their work. And the subs were great craftsmen and were a pleasure to have working on our home- and they seemed to enjoy our dogs! The project schedule came in on time and the budget was dead on...no surprises. We're so pleased with our addition and I have to say, it turned out even better than I had envisioned. We highly recommend Distinctive Homes. A truly great experience.

We worked with Distinctive Homes on a full renovation of one bathroom and the addition of a brand-new one. Bob did a wonderful job keeping everything on track and on time, and the subcontractors they used produced high-quality work. Melody was a huge help in guiding the design, and her input made the process so much easier. Communication was excellent throughout, and the project stayed within our expectations for budget and timeline. The finished bathrooms have truly improved the livability of our home. I am so pleased with the work that Distinctive Homes did for us. We have two small bathrooms that needed cosmetic renovation, as well as some foundation, plumbing and septic issues that we were unsure about how to address. Right from the get go, I knew we were in good hands. While our existing septic company was trying to tell us we needed a full septic overhaul, Bob brought in some additional experts who were able to verify that our tank and field were just fine, and our issues were strictly in the plumbing line. $20K saved right there! We also uncovered some crumbling floorboards upon demo of the bathrooms. While that's never a pleasant thing for any homeowner, I had such a peace of mind knowing that they knew exactly what to do and would get it fixed right. They did, and onward we moved with the renovation. Just 8 weeks later, our bathrooms have now been fully rebuilt and are absolutely gorgeous. I can't sing enough praises about working with Bob and Melody, as well as the contractors they brought in to work on our home. Every one was professional, courteous, and highly detailed. Several of them came back multiple times to check and recheck that things were done just right. Overall, I am THRILLED that we chose Distinctive Homes for our project, and would recommend them without reservation.

Bob and Melody are an incredible team to have on your side. They work to finish your project on time and in budget. We gutted our entire kitchen and it took 8 weeks from demo to punch list completion. All of our friends were jealous of the amazing work AND the timeline! Bob and Melody complement each other so nicely. It's so hard to make all the decisions that need to be made over the course of a renovation, but Melody and Bob have a lot of experience and will offer opinions to help you make the best decision for your style and budget. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Kitchen, bathroom and fireplace wall renovation with new flooring and complete interior condo painting. Although we did not live locally at the time, Bob and Melody were onsite daily to supervise all the renovations. Melody was very helpful in design and all fixture selections. Distinctive Home contractor, Bob Bachman, is experienced with condo regulations which helped to keep the job moving without any issues. They were receptive to our requests and completed the job beautifully.

Distinctive Homes is absolutely top notch. They have completed extensive renovations for us to include 4 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and a complete conversion of an old single car garage into an absolutely wonderful guest cottage. The knowledge and professionalism is superb. The subcontractors that they work with are very well qualified. The team that Bob and Melody provide is so helpful.
