Don and Evan did a job involving concrete, drywall, electrical, and a vent hood installation at my house and did incredible work! They were both incredibly kind, fair, and efficient with their time. I would highly recommend their services.

Don worked on my kitchen and it is amazing! I gave him a very difficult project and he made it work. Will definitely have him work on the house again.

Meyer General Contracting had done extensive remodeling for my brother in Indianapolis. We therefore already knew off the high quality of work Don and his partner Evan would preform for us. We certainly were not disappointed. In the spring of 2023 they installed a beautiful ceramic tile floor in a one of the bathrooms and later in the year they removed a 40 year old deck and patio. They replaced these two features with modern and excellent upgrades. We are extremely pleased with everything. They are design artists as well as excellent craftsmen. The best part they are fun. We hired Meyer General Contracting to remodel our kitchen which entailed the removal of a wall and old cabinetry, rerouting of plumbing, addition of a coffee bar with sink, replacement of flooring, and installation of new cabinetry. Don really thinks out his projects and would call or text me with thoughts and ideas before and during the remodel. He went with us to the cabinetry shop to help with the layout and proper measurements, and met with our flooring salesman as well. He's very good at communicating and returns calls and texts promptly. There are two men on this construction crew, Don and his son, Evan. They are hard workers and very trustworthy. We went away for a weekend during the construction and left them a key to get in to do some work while we were gone. We would most definitely hire Meyer General Contracting again.

Found Don searching for bathroom remodeling. He and his son did great work on our smaller bathroom. Very knowledgeable on all kinds of stuff. Great work and great people. Our realtor referred Don Meyer for renovations to our new home. This man has the talents of an artist and patience of a saint. The home was 20 years old and in good, but dated and used condition. We wanted modern and fresh, and something in which we could "age" in our golden years. His original scope was to update the master and guest bathrooms (including installing a tub in the guest and walk-in shower in the master), tile the kitchen backsplash area around the new granite counters, and convert a screened-in porch into an enclosed sunroom. The budget was $40,000; but we were flexible because we told him to identify anything he felt was a safety or comfort issue. We found Don Meyer to be extremely competent as a master carpenter, electrician and plumber. He is honest and provides very detailed accountings of his expenses and time. The project extended from June through September due to the numerous change orders and add-on's. He knew we were looking for classic touches and made recommendations for crown molding, complementing marble and porcelain accents and tiles, matching kitchen and bathroom faucets, door and cabinet hardware, electrical touches including rocker switches, dimming and USB ports throughout the house. We could have saved a great deal of money by using all of his talents and have him install the 6 new appliances rather than pay the store to do it. He improved the air and exhaust venting in the bathrooms. Most important, he took the time to test each electrical outlet and breaker switch. He found a burnt wire that could have led to a house fire, and nearly every outlet in the house had a faulty switch due to arcing and deterioration. The plumbing gate valves were also corroded/deteriorated and he replaced them with ball valves. The sunroom: Our direction for a sunroom was "turn the screened-in porch into a sunroom." It is a magnificent walk-in off the dining room -- 4 electrical outlets; large/open Pella windows and outside door; trayed ceiling, crown molding, soft rope lighting, and an inset light and fan. The siding on our house is no longer available for purchase and he repurposed it to match the extended exterior—another artistic touch. Additionally, Don identified weathering and organic growth on the outside trim and replaced wood as necessary. There were so many additional details and jobs (including exterior doors and window trim throughout) that we cannot name them all. It is sufficient to say that we are extremely satisfied homeowners. With all the changes and amount of time on the project, Don came in just a little over the original budget, and we will definitely be going to him next year as we are considering a new deck off the sunroom.

I have contracted Mr. Meyer on a couple occassions to remodel two bathrooms and my kitchen. The work they performed was beyond my expectations and their attention to detail was amazing! They finished in a timely manner, on target with the estimate and very professional. When I need more remodeling, I will be definitely call on their services again! Highly recommend! Thank you!
