MCB Remodeling

We worked with Mike and his crew on a house remodel (going from 2 bed/2 bath to 3 bed/2 bath). They are all professional, clear, and honest. This was our first home remodel project and they made the process easy for us - we always felt like we understood what was happening (without feeling like we were constantly getting unnecessary updates). Mike is honest - the project took exactly as long as he said it would, and we ended within our budget. In speaking with friends who have also gone through remodeling projects, we've learned that having someone who is clear and honest is really rare, and so we really appreciate these qualities in Mike and his team. Speaking of his team - he has an incredible crew. Everyone worked with, Kathryn, Phil, and every person who came into our home, were professional, kind, and respectful. We started our project when our youngest was 2 months old (not great timing on our part!) but the whole team was incredibly patient and kind with our kids and our situation. We're hoping to remodel our kitchen in a few years and we will definitely ask Mike to work with us again! MCB is really great - we highly recommend them.

We're a tile and stone contractor that started working with MCB Remodeling in 2013. MCB has been a joy to work with the past 7 years. Mike and his staff are quick to respond to our needs, he is very detailed in his work ethic and always goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. They take the time to understand their customers needs and life style and deliver to their satisfaction. When customers ask for referrals Mike and his team are always at the top of our list.

We have used MCB Remodeling for several projects. Michael came over to help us with a very small problem back in 1999 and as we were talking, he and my husband came up with a plan to add a basement to our existing home and remodel our main living area, including gutting the galley kitchen. I thought they were crazy! Who does this? Well, MCB Remodeling does this and VERY well! Michael not only does top-notch quality work himself, but he also hires the best of the best subcontractors to help with his jobs. He partners with fantastic architects and interior designers, so you don't have to source these partners yourself. While this project was 20 years ago, it has lasted the test of time and still looks great. Lifting a 5000 square foot home off its' foundation is no small feat! Of course, there were a few bumps in the road, but Michael was always onsite to walk us through the challenges and options and made sure they were handled to our complete satisfaction. There is no challenge that Michael has not been able to solve for us. We have since had him back to remodel three bathrooms and our master bedroom. Again, high-quality work, fantastic design partners and he himself has a great eye for design. He communicated with us frequently to give us status and schedule updates. No problem is too big or too small for MCB remodeling. We can highly recommend Michael and MCB remodeling, without hesitation.

Michael has done one small (dining room) and one large (2 bedrooms, including master with bathroom and large deck) remodel for us. We found him to be creative and easy to work with. He has a great eye for design and his recommendations always make the end result more aesthetically pleasing. The quality of his work was excellent and has stood the test of time, in that it still looks great 5+ years later. I would definitely recommend him, and would work with him again in the future.
