Bower builders built our current residence in Greenwich, CT (completed in 2017). They were fantastic to work with and recommend them to anyone looking to build or undertake a major renovation. Mike Bower, the owner, was almost always on-site and always available for questions - response time was usually in minutes over the phone. His attention to detail is second to none and he takes pride in his craftsmanship. He always made sure I had a say in every key decision and provided guidance as I navigated my first house build. When a question or challenge arose he always provided multiple options that included the positives/negatives of the option and associated costs. I would recommend him to anyone I know looking to build a house.

I have been a residential architect in practice for more than 38 years. I have been involved with Bower Builders Inc. since the late 1980s. This company has worked on numerous projects that I have been professionally involved with as well as personal projects. My husband and I hired Bower Builders in 1994 to do a major renovation of a large house we purchased on Shippan Point, Stamford CT. Our architect identified Bower and several other potential contractors. Based on the review of qualifications by our architect, we selected Bower and could not have been happier with our decision. Mike Bower gets high marks for his attention to detail, his ability to work collaboratively with our architect, and his responsiveness to our desires. He made numerous suggestions along the way during a multi-year project that reflected his thoughtfulness and interest in producing an excellent result. We have continued to call on Bower Builders during the last 23 years for many smaller projects because we have great confidence in their work.

Mike designed and installed a beautiful set of bookshelves and mantle piece in his first job, the work was both meticulous and unique. This work gave me confidence to hire him a few years later to extend and redesign my dining room and finish my basement. Once again, the work was impeccable. I have consulted with Mike many times over the years - most recently on a expensive bathroom renovation where his expertise and "eye" for details led to a great result. I highly recommend Mike's work.
