Ceanesse Kitchens Ltd.

We worked with John at Ceanesse & had the best experience designing our new kitchen! The entire process was timely, as well as executed with thought & care. They were attentive from start to finish & made sure we were 100% happy with our final kitchen. I would highly recommend Ceanesse Kitchens!

My vision for the wall unit was crystal clear, yet its execution proved to be extraordinarily difficult. I drew up sketches and presented them to Ceanesse. I don't believe my drawings fully conveyed my intent, but their response was immediate and unmistakable: they wanted the contract. This was never going to be just another kitchen unit. I went home and started the detailed drawings Ceanesse needed for a price quote. The complexity of my vision was confusing, even for me, a designer with 40 years of experience. The wall unit was 25.5" W X 71" H X 81" L, with four distinct depths: 15" (kitchen side), 9" (TV), 24" (media equipment/CDs), and a 13" vinyl record box on top. Adding to the challenge was the critical requirement for concealed wiring, access for the lighting and media equipment, plus heat ventilation. This was, to say the least, an immensely challenging job for both of us. We spent many hours in a back-and-forth process, discussing materials and colours, working toward a design that balanced their construction comfort with my acceptance criteria, ultimately resulting in necessary compromises on both sides. The wall unit's arrival for installation was delayed by many months, given their extremely busy schedule and the large number of customers ahead of me. Once delivered, there were a handful of minor, non-major items to address. For instance, on the kitchen side, several drawers had to be substituted. A subsequent issue arose when the new drawer fronts arrived with an inconsistent wood colour. Ceanesse quickly apologized and committed to changing them as soon as possible. Yet, I grew to like the subtle colour variation. This small error actually provided the inspiration for a second job I had planned, leading me to specify an intentional alternating wood colour pattern for the front of the under-the-window unit, a design decision which ultimately proved very successful. Working with Ceanesse was a wonderful experience, and I especially appreciated the opportunity to tour their state-of-the-art production plant near Victoria, BC. They prioritize the use of the highest-quality materials and hardware. Key features include soft-close mechanisms on all doors and drawer slides, along with fully adjustable shelving, ensures maximum versatility for future owners of this mobile home.

We are absolutely thrilled with the new kitchen that Lloyd and Ceanesse kitchens did for us. They listened to our needs and what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better job. From the original drawings to the installer and installation, everything went smoothly and on time. Everyone was personable, pleasant and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend these guys.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with my kitchen renovation! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. Lloyd and the team was professional, attentive, and genuinely listened to my ideas. They helped me design a space that’s both functional and beautiful, blending modern appliances with timeless aesthetics. The quality of craftsmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail is second to none. The project was completed on time. My new kitchen feels like a dream come true—I’m absolutely in love with it! Highly recommend this company for anyone looking to transform their space.

We were very happy to have worked with Lloyd at Ceanesse on our custom kitchen design and installation. Due to the small footprint of our kitchen, it was challenging to find a layout and design that worked for what we needed but Lloyd came in and had some great options for us while standing back when needed and interpreting our asks correctly. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone doing a project on the island. Really happy with how things turned out.

Lloyd was very professional. He listened to what we were looking for and worked with his designer to come up with a fantastic plan for custom bedroom built in cabinets with bed frame and lighting. The install went well, they made sure everything was installed per plans, working well and cleaned up before leaving.

Ceanesse Kitchens Ltd were very professional in every regard and I would recommend them. The space we had for cabinets was small and the design was complicated by the many corners and differing depths of cabinets and counters. Ceanesse always responded positively when face with last minute design changes and were helpful at every stage. Post sales activities revealed the same degree of competence when installation and service personnel were completing the project. Well done Ceanesse.

I am so in LOVE with my new kitchen. Lloyd was so professional and helpful. He was amazing in his measurements and recommendations. I have told a number of my friends and neighbors about Ceaaness Kitchens and I highly recommend them. I went with a sage green on the bottom cupboards and white on top. I added a chefs pantry also...I am over the moon happy. I have always wanted built in bookshelves on each side of my fireplace, they are beautiful also. I would give Lloyd and Ceanesse Kitchen 10 stars if I could. Thank you Lloyd and staff, you have make me one happy lady.

We were very impressed with the value and quality of service we received from Ceanesse Kitchens. From our initial showroom visit with Daryl to the installation and final check of our new kitchen cabinets, we received excellent advice and assistance. Daryl helped us plan our layout to ensure the best use of space and always responded to our questions and suggestions. He provided us with plans and an estimate in a timely manner and made adjustments to the design and cost as we progressed to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The delivery and installation was on time and completed on schedule. The follow up service was also excellent, with a prompt completion of the final adjustments and inspection. We have no hesitation in recommending Ceanesse Kitchens.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my entire experience with Ceanesse, Nanaimo. I absolutely love my new kitchen and the whole process of getting it was smooth and even enjoyable. Lloyd was a pleasure to work with. He really listens and cares about getting it right. His measurements were spot so my cabinets look fantastic and he really was collaborative in helping me make design decisions. I wanted solid colour for my cabinets and I’m so glad that I went with the laminate Lloyd recommended instead of paint. They have already sustained a few hard knocks and there is no sign of any damage. I also got an appliance garage that I love. I opted for under cabinet lighting too which looks amazing but required a significant amount of electrical work to set up ($$!). Everything was delivered on the time line that I was given which made it easier for me to coordinate with electricians, plumbers, counter, flooring and tiling people. And when there were a couple of minor issues that weren’t exactly what I was expecting (eg. shelves were installed a few inches higher than I had wanted) Lloyd insisted on having the issue corrected promptly. I had never heard of Ceanesse before I accidentally wandered into their showroom. Prior to that, I had got a quote from a big box establishment and Ceanesse was much cheaper, completely personalized and in-person (not virtual). I highly recommend Ceanesse.

We are delighted with the results of a cabinet refacing project by Ceanesse Kitchens, resulting in a beautiful transformation of our tired old kitchen. It was a pleasure working with Daryl. Communication was prompt and clear. One last minute design change and some minor final tweaks were handled without drama. Matt the installer was quick, quiet and professional, and provided solid advice when options had to be considered.

We have been very satisfied with Ceanesse Kitchens from design through installation and service which was just completed. We had our kitchen installed about 9 years ago and we still love the timeless design and high quality products. We recently had a small problem with a hardware item. They rectified the problem within 2 days. I would be happy to continue recommending them to anyone that is the market for a new kitchen.
