With twenty plus years in the field, Principal Designer Michael P leads an experienced team of highly qualified design professionals and support staff specializing in interior design. We have made it our mission to spark the conversation about design in our great city. We strive to bring our worldly ideas and inspiration to our customers and fans across Western New York and beyond. Michael Poczkalski is the owner and principal designer of Michael P Design and room buffalo. He holds a Master’s degree in architecture from the University of Buffalo and attended Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design Loeb Fellowship Program. Michael P’s training in architecture gives him the ability to design an interior that perfectly complements the grandeur of a building while implementing modern day design trends. Michael P has received accolades for his design work at the Hotel Lafayette, a monumental preservation project for the city of Buffalo. He was awarded the Preservation League of New York State’s “Excellence in Historic Preservation” award, and was most recently named “Top 100 Interior Designers” by Design Bureau Magazine for his design at the Hotel Lafayette. Michael P is also known for his work as Design Producer on HGTV’s American Rehab Buffalo, and Project Manager/ Designer for House Hunters Renovation Buffalo.
