Cornerstone Construction has been building and renovating across Durham Region since 2017. We're a licensed and insured Ontario corporation, WSIB compliant, and owner-operated — Mike Brock is on your job site, not behind a desk. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, basements (including legal and in-law suites), full interior renovations, additions, and commercial fit-ups for offices, retail, and restaurants. We also handle insurance restoration for water, fire, and mould damage, and we manage permits and inspections start to finish. How we work: every project starts with a free project diagnostic, where we assess the space, scope the work, and give you a fixed price before we begin. That price is locked — materials are ordered early so market swings don't land on your budget. You get one dedicated project manager, daily progress updates, dust barriers and floor protection, and a clean site at the end of every single day. We commit to a completion date in writing and pay you $300 back for every day we run late. Every job carries a 5-year written workmanship warranty. If something we built fails because of how it was installed, we fix it at no charge — and you finish with an Owner's Manual covering care and maintenance for every material and system we installed.
