I'm a designer based in LA and I've been referring Desiree Rutherford to my clients since 2021. Desiree takes such care in listening to my clients' needs to achieve the exact storage solutions that work for them. Her creative use of space and attention to detail is beyond expert level. Desiree wastes no time in producing the potential designs for review and is very patient and accommodating during the review & revision process. She guides the clients through the entire process step by step, answers every question and does it all with the most positive and energetic attitude. The systems she designs turn out exactly like the beautiful renderings and my clients are always thrilled with the end result. I can't say enough about how appreciative I am to have a dependable closet and storage solutions designer like Desiree & inspired closets to refer to my clients!

Could not be happier with our new closet! Our house in nearly 100 years old, and almost nothing is square anymore. Despite this Inspired Closets installers were able to work around this better than we ever thought was possible. The process was simple and easy. Their showroom allowed us to see and feel the options we were discussing live and in person, and get a feel for anything we weren't sure about. And finally, after we had a design put together and and the project quoted out, our designer took the time to go through everything with us and help us cut some of the cost out that we needed to stay on budget. Great experience, and we will be using them again for our next closet project!

Such a great experience with Inspired Closets. Lorinna was a fantastic designer. She appraoched my project with enthuasism and a great eye for details that would maxamize my space. The process was seamless from site visit, design, scheduling, and installation. Everyone was especially careful with covid protections, which was particularly important to me. My closets came out great!

From the beginning it was a wonderful pleasure dealing with them. The designer came out and looked at our space and then emailed us options. Once we decided on the option, it was installed within a few weeks. The gentleman that came out was professional and nice. I even wanted an extra hanging rod and he installed it no problem. It was done within a half day! So pleased! I’m looking to have them install a wall tree next for us!

I highly recommend Inspired Closets. They designed 3 closets for us with creative solutions to maximize storage space. We had needs for folded and hanging clothing as well as laundry and some drawer items. Designer Lis fit in everything while listening to our ideas and incorporating our thoughts, creating digital plans. We are very happy with the design work, material quality, and installation that was done on our closets. The design of our closets was challenging given the roof lines that needed to be accommodated. Mike Carson did an excellent job of handling those challenges, creating designs that efficiently utilized the spaces for our needs. The quality of the material is very good, with a look and feel that matches the rest of the surrounding area. Even with the great design, there were some modifications that needed to be made during installation, which were also handled very well by the installer. Lis and the team at Inspired Closets are wonderful! Lis took my partial idea of a closet and gave me an absolutely gorgeous closet. The install went so smoothly, even with having to change out my countertop at the last minute.

I had a great experience with Inspired Closets. Scheduling a free consultation was easy and quick. The designer Lis Ritz came to my home, talked with me about my needs for the space (closet in my son's nursery), and came up with a perfect design within my budget. The installer was very professional and polite, and I really appreciate that he was able to remove the existing fixtures and dispose of them. I didn't have to lift a finger. Having used the closet now for a month or so, I am really pleased with the end result and would recommend Inspired Closets to anyone looking for a beautiful closet system and outstanding customer service.

We talked to 3 other closet providers along with Mike @ Inspired Closets. Mike’s professionalism, credible advice and active listening were above and beyond anyone else. The buying experience was very pleasant. Mike came out, listened to our needs, discussed his merits and gave us a quote. He was never pushy, never cutting silly “valid today only” 50% off deals etc. We went back and talked to him at his office. He again customized the design on the fly and came up with what we wanted. We decided on Mike as it “felt” good working with him and we truly believed that Inspired closets will do a great job. On the installation day, Nick came right when we expected. He was courteous and got to work immediately. He didn’t even take a lunch break and worked over 6 hours straight. Being a wood worker myself, it was great to see the time that Nick spent on planning, drawing on the wall and focused on tiny details. The result was just spectacular. What we thought we were going to get, we got better than that. My wife was just elated. What more can you expect? I will recommend Inspired Closets to everyone including my friends and family. Rarely, it is such a pleasure in working with any construction or home improvement company as I did with Inspired Closets.

After many months of research on internet, I decided to call Inspired Closets and ask for estimate and design for all the closets and garage. Liz was our designer and I have nothing but an amazing experience with her. She did great job! But most thankful I am for her patience working with us :-) I have to mention Deb as well! Great customer service! Cheerful, polite and positive! The installers were the most professional guys we ever had to work in our house. They left the working space sparkly clean.On the end (probably what every customer cares the most) IT IS THE BEST PRIZE FOR BEST QUALITY YOU CAN GET ON MARKET! I have other projects on my mind, but I have to wait for my husband to cool off first :-))))))

Lis from Inspired closets was great to work with. We had a very tight timeline on the construction of our new home, and she worked hard to ensure our closets were designed and installed on time. She even met me at the showroom on a holiday weekend so I could make my final choices. Our closets are beautiful and functional.

I was very impressed with the professionalism at Inspired Closets. I wanted a Murphy Bed with shelves but wasn’t satisfied with online options. Inspired Closets came out to discuss what I wanted, take measurements and followed up with a video consultation to show me the plans and discuss the options. The installers did an excellent job, and payment options were convenient. Everyone was super polite and professional.

I'm very glad that all my closets are done by Inspired Closets. I got quote/estimates from 6 different companies and the final cost for the project was close to each other with seven closet spaces including garage, there was lot of confusion and ambiguity to chose within 2 of them. But again the credit goes to the designer Shirley Mazur who explained patiently about the company & quality of the materials. its not just her words that made us to go with Inspired Closets instead we went to couple of show rooms where we could see the actual material, quality and the standard - Inspired Closets was amazing !!! Still there was a question at some corner - looking at the showcased closets in the show room was amazing, can I expect the same kind of finish & commitment in my house - believe me these guys are amazing, just 2 ppl 3 days all closets are done as per the design with no mess and no damage, was very smooth in every means. Inspired Closets designed and organized the 2 small walk-in closets in our master bedroom, and designed built-in closets in our sitting room transforming it into a beautiful open dressing room. Shirley was very professional in describing the products, our choices, and in her vision of how everything would come together. Installation was done in the midst of other renovations going on in the master bathroom and everything went smoothly. The Inspired Closet installers were able to coordinate and collaborate with our other crew and the job was done in 2 days. We now have a space for everything we need, and the quality of the entire project from start to finish is beyond our expectation.

We were introduced to Lis Ritz of Inspired Closets through our general contractor while building our new home. Lis did an amazing job of taking our requirements and making them fit our space AND our budget. Along the way, she gave us many great suggestions, some of which saved us money. We liked the end product so much - both in terms of quality and look - that we also had Lis design and build our office, mudroom and laundry room - jobs that we had initially given to our cabinet maker! At some point down the line, we plan on organizing our garage and surely be calling up Inspired Closets.

I love my new closet! The experience with Inspired was awesome from beginning to end. I called to inquire about the possibility of redoing my closet and I had a professional designer in my home within a week to talk over all the possibilities with me. I was able to see the design and ask questions and modify it before it was finalized and then it was installed in a day a couple of weeks later. The cost was very reasonable also!!

Excellent Service and very professional. We have small closet space in our new home and we were not sure how to accommodate all of our belongings in there. So I made an appointment with his company and Shirley has arrived 5 minutes before the appointment time. She asked us how we intending to use the closets that we have in our bedrooms. She listed very patiently and took measuments of out of closets. Then she explained how can we use that space in an organized manner. She spend about 2 hours in our home answering mine and my wife questions and suggesting everything according to Thea tabs are. I observed that she never suggested something that is not needed. I really liked that. We have approached other companies to take the quotes but no one gave us this type of efficient plan to our closets. Also, all others have higher costs. So we have decided to go with Closets Bh Design. One single person came to install all the closets. He cxplajned what he is going to do in a very polite manner, I think his name was Mike. When he was almost finishing, The designer, Shirly stopedby at our home to check with us if we are ok with them or not. This is something that I'd don't expect. Even after that I contacted Shirley on something we thinking to with entertainment area. Wheneverwd contact them for something they are very polite and very responsive. The designer Shirley is extrordinery and very knowledgeable. The closets that they installed were changed te appearance of our bedroom. Now my bedrooms looking fabulous and modern. I cannot give a high enough recommendation to Mike Carson and his company on the amazing job he did on our pantry. After having quotes from other national companies, I thought that my plans to re-do my pantry were gone as they were so expensive for just basic shelving. However, Carson Closets gave an amazingly reasonable quote for completely redoing my pantry with a beautiful system complete with pull out shelves, baskets, lazy susans, dividers and cabinets that was a less than half the cost of the national companies. Carson Closets & Cabinetry created the most amazing master closet for me. Not only did they effectively use every inch of my "small" 4' x 7' space, but they did it with style! Mike Carson is extraordinarily professional and designed my closet very economically without any "pushy" sales. I solicited 4 bids for my closet and Carson's bid was significantly less than the other three, plus his design had higher quality materials and a much shorter timeline for completion. They were timely and efficient with very high quality craftsmanship. Their customer service is top notch! I could not be more pleased with their work product and their customer service. I have very high expectations and am very critical of contractors, since I am actually a construction lawyer (which I never disclosed to Carson Closets). I knew nothing about and had no professional connection to Mike Carson or Carson Closets & Cabinetry prior to soliciting his bid for this project, but I am so pleased with my decision to use Carson Closets. I will definitely be using them in the future!

I had been recommended to Carson Closets by a friend who is also a Real Estate Agent. We had shopped around for a reasonably priced, professional company to install our walk-in master closet, 2 bedroom closets, and laundry room shelves. After speaking with Mike and discussing our needs, he very quickly put together a proposal and drawings of our space. There were not too many things that needed to be changed. He really got the sense of what we were trying to do. Installation was scheduled, but because of construction delays, we had to reschedule a couple of times. Deb in the office was very nice and patient with us in doing so. We love our closets (which turned out perfectly) and would recommend Carson Closets to anyone.

I would give Carson Closets my highest recommendation. We compared three closet companies and thought that Mike Carson and his company provided the best combination of design, customer service and price of all of them. Mike was excellent at listening to what we needed for our master closet and developed several solutions that worked well. He was flexible in his approach and worked with us to make sure we were completely happy and confident with the choice. His use of CAD design made it especially easy to understand and visualize what we were getting. One company just provided a hand drawn design which is not adequate to see what you are spending a lot of money on. He was also great at helping us make cost trade-offs. There were things that we added that were worthwhile and some that he helped us to see were not. The whole time he was all about making sure our needs were met. Other companies seemed to care more about their needs. And one company met our needs but the price was eye-popping. Designing and selecting a closet is a challenging process because there are so many considerations. Mike was the best at walking us through the selections in a way that was patient, easy to follow and provided the best solution. You'll find that some companies present a more "stylish" design approach, at a huge cost premium, but ultimately they presented a similar design. Other companies present huge "discounts" but it's just off a highly inflated number. Mike was totally professional, never pushy (like some) and in the end presenting everything we wanted at a fair price. Don't waste your time with other companies. Carson Closets is all you need.

I just had a custom wall bed with side shelves installed in our guestroom/3rd bedroom to maximize and create a multi-functional space. From start to finish the service was not only top notch but the end product exceeded our expectations. Mike Carson and Deb are true professionals in every aspect of the word. We made numerous changes to the design to fit our budget,were indecisive with the selecting hardware, and had to change the install 3 times. Not once did they make us feel rushed or our business was not appreciated after all of that. The gentleman who installed our unit was terrific. Very respectful of our house and you could see immediately that he was a master of his craft. I hired Carson Closets to re-do a front hall coat closet and walk in master bedroom closet. My husband and I moved into our condo in Chicago and the closets, while they had built ins, just didn't make sense (a closet in a box if you will). Mike was very prompt and extremely professional in coming out immediately to take measurements and give us the most effective use of our space for the budget we had in mind. Within a couple weeks, the installer came out to install the new closets. He was very efficient and clean. In fact, he cleaned the areas where he had to drill so well no drywall or paint dust were even visible. Overall, we were extremely happy and pleased with Carson Closets, particularly Mike, and would definitely use them again. I have already recommended Mike and his team to all my family and friends!

Carson closets was recommended to me by a contractor I worked with on another project and I could not be more pleased with the referral. I used Carson Closets for two project so far, the first was book shelves for my living room space which came out wonderful. Mike Carson was professional and courteous and spent a lot of time with me on drawings to make sure I got the result I wanted. The job once scheduled was done on time (one day), on budget and they did a fantastic job. Since I live in a high rise my floors are not level at all and it was apparent in the work they did how much extra effort it took to level the shelves to insure that the end result was perfect. I was so please with the bookshelves I asked them to come back and design a dresser and wardrobe unit for my bedroom. Once again I was thrilled with the effort that went into the drawings, the changes I asked for and finally the design we agreed too. Mike is never too busy to make changes and help you with suggestions on alternatives as you go through the design process. This installation went just as smooth as the first one and again took just one day. From the office staff to the onsite installers the staff is professional, courteous and wonderful to work with. When the job was done they called me and I came home to a perfect installation with a spotless house. I hired Carson Closets to install two walk in closets and a laundry room. The owner, Mike, was very professional. He put together a digital rendering of the design for our review which made it very easy to visualize. The installation technician completed the project efficiently and even patched the walls up where I had taken out a metal rack fixture. The installation areas were left clean. Carson Closets delivered on their sales presentation and I would gladly hire them again on future projects.

Mike installed a Murphy bed, with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and drawers. The result was most impressive, blending form and function in a space-saving fashion, transforming a small space into a yoga room that quickly becomes a third bedroom with ease. The project was installed in a day. He's a super-friendly guy, and his project proficiency is legit. In the middle of the project, I asked him to add a nightstand element, and he did that, too, rather seamlessly.

We worked with Mike to build cubbies in the mudroom. I had a vision and provided Mike with what I was looking for. He provided basically the same layout and colors from an example I provided. He added more elements to it by providing his suggestions. We took his recommendation on additional components to the overall design to have more practical uses out of it. He quickly had a 3D design and walked us through it. From the time the consultation was scheduled to the installation was quite fast than I thought it would be. Mike, at Carson closets, did a great job with a difficult closet space for me. It was a very angular closet and he was able to maximize the space for me in a way that did not feel cramped or awkward. Mike was very professional and I had confidence in his work, unlike others who gave me estimates and proposals, who forgot things like a tape measure, which seems important in putting together a plan.I wanted certain handles for my closet drawers and Mike worked with me so that I got the handles I wanted. The best part are the automatic lights in my jewelry drawers, which are removable and rechargeable and run through USB. Great work by this company.

Mike was prompt, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I had had two competitors previousl design and bid on designing a long narrow master closet. Each of their designs provided little, if any, improvement on current closet capacity. In fact, neither of them even followed up to see how I liked the design. Mike promptly measured and within a day had a design that maximized the 9 by 5' closet without compromising movement within the space. Additionally, Mike called me on the phone and walked me thru using remote design software the entire closet specifications. We made a few changes and were done! The installer, Ken, was equally as professional, working quickly, quietly and neatly to install closet to accomodate my height and clothing needs. This is a great company and I plan to work with them on a mud room and storage closet. Well done!

We had a custom murphy bed installed, built in shelving added to our pantry, kitchen, coat closet, and laundry. They did a wonderful job giving us high quality storage solutions that look great and function. The murphy bed looks beautiful and their options for lighting, shelving, and anything you want are all customized to how you want it. They also were the only ones who could design a custom murphy bed to accommodate our extra deep mattress that is very valuable to us. They are very professional with the installation as they do it to perfection. I also really appreciated that they wear shoe covers when entering my home with new carpet and little babies. I usually cringe when contractors walk into my home and do not bother removing their filthy shoes unless I say something. Costs were high, but they were able to price match. Mike is very responsive, easy to reach, has a great attitude, and tries very hard to accommodate your needs. His installer, David is also very professional and ensures perfection in the work being done. I will be recommending them to my friends!
