We had an excellent experience working with Erin at Milestone Home Design. We were starting with a completely unfinished basement and needed help to maximize the space while maintaining a functional flow. Erin created several layout options that helped us think through the best use of every square foot. Our finished basement includes a workout room, TV/lounge area, wet bar, recreation space for the kids, a full bathroom, and a small unfinished storage area. Erin’s designs helped us understand how furniture placement, traffic flow, and spatial planning would impact the overall feel of each room. Being able to view the designs from multiple perspectives and then virtually walk through the space gave us so much confidence before construction began as well as helped guide conversations with contractors as we were selecting which company to go with. We hired Erin Rudy, of Milestone Home Design, to draw up scenarios for an open plan for our first floor and a more modern design for our family room, downstairs. She presented us with 5 different design options for our first floor and 4 options for the lower level. They were presented in 3D and 360 rotations. She was very professional, creative and understood our vision. Communication was seamless as she fully explained each design, in detail, making sure we understood each design and answered all our questions. Needed help with furniture layout & paint colors in my home. I had many rooms to review & I was tired of spinning & also concerned about making costly decisions that I would regret. My 2 hour consultation with Erin delivered exactly what I asked for: to finish the room while working with the current furniture and rug. She helped me with furniture placement, selecting coffee and end tables, finding the best mirror for the mantle, a light fixture and window treatments. Erin also came up with an idea for repurposing an old radiator cover. We had time to talk about another room and then some. I will continue working with Erin. My husband and I have been wanting to finish our basement for months and started the process with a little paint and light fixtures but were having a hard time working out our vision. I stumbled upon Erin and Milestone design over a google search as I looked for help on designing my basement renovation project. I had no idea what would be where in my unfinished space - and that's where Erin really is a value-add. From the beginning, it was all about me, and what our family wanted from the space. She diligently listened to everything we pitched to her way, inspiration images, youtube videos, even instagram reels (yep!) to build a stunning set of designs. We utilized roughly 95% of her initial drafts in our final designs which tells you how strong of a design sense she has. Erin is incredibly detail oriented and doesn't leave out anything from your wish list. She was very punctual in her deliverable timelines being respectful of both of our time. Even with delays on my end, she works around my schedule. What did I learn after going through the end to end process? Erin offers a seriously top tier product for a very reasonable price - something that has time and monetary impact on the back end of your projects. I am literally working with contractors now to quote her exact designs - contractors are blown away that I'm ready to roll from a design standpoint and are equally impressed her design outputs which includes a 3-D virtual walkthrough, PDF images, and top down views. Erin is amazing. Full period. Stop. We have an old, dingy basement with really high quality knotty pine walls. I'm not a knotty pine girl but the cost to remove it, paint, or any other option was not only cost prohibitive but honestly, a PITA. Enter Erin and Milestone Design. Which is important because the whole process was a virtual one! I've never met her but I feel like I know her and more importantly I feel like she knows me because the designs she delivered based on the info and pictures I gave her were spot on. They captured three distinct facets of my personality. When it came time to combine them into a cohesive final design, the process was so simple. The software she uses is intuitive and easy-to-learn and I felt like I could communicate clearly. I absolutely HATED my basement before this process. Who could love a paneled basement with knotty pine? Me, that's who! The design she delivered is incredible. Practically transformed while still retaining the parts of the basement that cannot change. I'm so happy with it. Erin has been great to work with through the entire process. She's responsive and sticks to her deadlines. I'd not only recommend her services but would like to utilize her in the future for other projects.

Erin did an excellent job of understanding our needs and ideas and translating them into her design concepts. It was so helpful to see multiple options, pick and choose elements from each concept to create our ideal environment and see everything in 3D. Now we have the flexibility to source the contractors, furniture and decor on our timeline and within our budget. I’ve worked with more “traditional “ interior designers in the past, and I am so happy to have found Erin. I truly believe virtual design is the way of the future!

We're so happy to have worked with Erin and used her e-design services. We first collaborated on our basement remodel - exploring different floorplans and furniture arrangements. Her 3D renderings were so helpful that we then asked her to help with another project - and she's now helped us visualize our kitchen, dining room, library AND seating area! Erin was great at incorporating our feedback and providing three viable options for each space. We're now leveraging her renderings to get quotes from a few general contractors. Without her, we would have worked with a design/build firm that likely would have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars more overall.
