I have worked with Mindy on numerous projects when her clients need custom closet organizers, garage cabinets, and other custom built-ins so I have had the unique pleasure of seeing many of her jobs first-hand. Mindy has a beautiful aesthetic and is very easy to work with, which results in happy clients for both of us. I highly recommend Mindy and look forward to working with her further!

How can I begin to describe how talented Mindy Laven is? My husband has a nickname that he calls her, every time she comes to work with me. He calls her the Albert Einstein of interior decorators. Oh, and also a genius, and he at the beginning wasn't too thrilled with me using a decorator. I was referred to Mindy from a neighbor of mine, who has used her for several projects, so after seeing her gorgeous house, I HAD to hire Mindy. I first used Mindy on a vacation home that we had purchased in Palm Desert. Usually, when you move, you take all of your things with you, and use it in the new house. We forgot that we suddenly had to furnish an entire 2500 sq ft, house from scratch, and on a major budget. So Mindy went down there with us, picked out gorgeous paint colors (she is amazing with color), and we went on a discount shopping spree in 2 days, furnishing the entire home from believe it or not, Matthis Bros, Home Goods and Target on-line. We got everything from furniture to kitchen towels, sheets, silverware, etc in 2 days. And it turned out so beautifully. All of our friends continue to give us the most amazing compliments. So after this was done, and I had to go back to our home in Yorba Linda, which was basically dark browns and reds, I was not pleased. So I immediately called Mindy, who said, that we are a "happy family", but our house looked kind of sad. So she again, picked beautiful colors, we got new furniture, light fixtures etc., Again, we were on a budget since we had just decorated the other house so Living Spaces, Lamps Plus etc and we began to work on this house, which now feels so happy and homey. We pretty much finished the downstairs, and she just found a gorgeous backsplash that is our next project. We did splurge on a few pretty accent pieces , which were well worth it. And our powder room is beautiful now! After the holidays, I want to move on upstairs and do our master bedroom, master bath, guest room, etc , and Mindy will be the first one that I will call, The best thing about Mindy is that I know for a fact that she works on multi million dollar homes, but she didn't make us feel uncomfortable about doing the budget thing, And nobody in a million years would ever know that we decorated on a budget, except when I brag about how we did. Everyone raves about her work. One last compliment I have to give her is that although she is soo beautiful, she is completely down to earth, a very kind, caring person, and so much fun to work with!! If I could give her 10 plus stars, I would, and I promise you, when you use Mindy, you will not be disappointed!!

Mindy is a true professional. She will work with your needs whether you are seeking high end designer furnishings or seeking a look but on a tighter budget. She provides numerous options helping you find the look and feel that is right for your space. She understand the stresses you face whether it is making design decisions or working with a contractor or subs, and coaches you through with solutions and helping to ease your mind. She so extremely fair with her fees and I always know I am getting exactly what we discussed in design services.

Mindy is a genius! She can do a lot in a short amount of time. I hired her off and on over a couple of years. She was efficient, fast, and decisive so that every penny of mine was well spent. Not to mention her knowledge, taste, and style met my standards of high-end style at reasonable prices. She also incorporated what I have already and made it new, saving me money long-term. I now am hiring her for a much larger project on my new home...a fixer upper. Mindy is professional and trustworthy. She is also affordable. I have hired other designers in the past who up-charged everything they recommended. I much prefer Mindy's straight-forward, honest approach. I recently sold the house she had helped me with and everyone who saw it thought it was staged. Nope! It was Mindy'd! And, unlike staging, I actually got to enjoy it for many years prior to selling my home. Now, we are making another dream home together. I can't wait!

Mindy Laven Interiors is a very respectful, professional, honest and very reliable designer to work with. I had a broken pipe with severe water damage. Mindy worked with me and insurance contractors, without a hitch. We had to gut family room, kitchen, guest bedroom, and entrance way. Mindy worked with me and very pleased with end results, have received many compliments. I will certainly use her expertise in the future for decorating. Mindy was a life saver during my full renovation. She guided me every step of the way from the architectural planning stages to the end stages of decorating. She helped me to manage the project with my contractor, which lasted for ten months. Together we made some fabulous choices. She was an excellent resource for finding great products at great prices.
