I can without hesitation highly recommend Rob and his team at Mission Exteriors. I've lived in DC for 14 years and run across my share of contractors from multiple jobs ranging from painting to kitchen remodeling and I can say Mission Exteriors is top notch from my experience. The number one trait in my opinion is their patience in answering all my many questions about window manufacturers, products, energy efficiency, installation process, warranty, etc. There's no high pressure sales tactics, just good old fashioned support to help you arrive at the right decision for you and your household. If you're in the business for new windows, have questions about how to determine what's right for you, and want a contractor that doesn't subcontract out the installation but uses their own trained and licensed staff, look no further than Mission Exteriors in DC.

Great experience working with Mission Exteriors. I connected with ME for a project to install and replace some existing siding on my DC row house. From beginning to the end of installation, the ME team were extremely responsive, on time, and very diligent about the planning and details of the project. All other installers said installation would be impossible to complete because of the tight spacing typical of DC row home neighborhoods. ME found a way to get the job done and did excellent work. Highly recommend Mission Exteriors!

Overall, we had a great experience with Robert and his Mission Exteriors team. We had our entire front door and frame removed and new frame, door, and transom installed. The work turned out top notch even though there were a few setbacks in the ordering timeline. We absolutely recommend Mission Exteriors to others because at the end of the day, the results speak for themselves. There were a few issues along the way, but Robert did his best to minimize their impact on the overall project. Initially, the few door designs we wanted turned out to not be available from the manufacturer, so out of his control. Then the door that was available took longer than expected to construct and deliver. This unfortunately got in the way of another project we were doing with the front of the house. However, Robert did understand this, and took on some additional finish work at no cost, in order to make up for the delay and disruption. Finally, the actual installation and painting of the door, storm door, and trim also took longer than expected, which meant my wife or I needed to be home more days than originally anticipated. Another positive experience was the “sales” process. Robert came by to take a look at the old door and hear what we were looking for, had some options for us to see and really made the entire thing easy. No hard sale, just a quick turnaround with the quote. At the end of the day, I am rating Mission Exteriors a 4.5 of 5 because their work and finished product were top notch, but the timeline and fulfillment could have been better. I understand that ordering and installation can vary by project, so I don’t hold them at fault for many of the delays.

Mission Exteriors replaced our old windows and doors and did an outstanding job. Robert provided us with all the information we needed to make a decision on the style and cost. Daniel and his crew were professional and meticulous with their work. We have received so many compliments on our new windows and doors. We are very pleased and so happy we chose Mission Exteriors.

Mission Exteriors installed 21 Andersen Woodwright replacement windows in our house in Bethesda, as well as one vinyl sliding window in a basement window well, and did an excellent job. Robert the owner explained our choices, patiently answered all our questions, and remained engaged throughout the entire project. There was no annoying upsell, just some very thoughtful and objective suggestions on what options might work best, given the various sizes and locations of the existing windows. Daniel and his installation crew worked carefully and efficiently and ran an extremely clean and well-organized worksite. The job was finished on time, and clean-up was very thorough. We were very happy with the high quality of workmanship, as well as their solution to the problematical below-ground basement window that we thought would be too difficult to replace. We highly recommend Mission Exteriors, especially for the strong sense of craftsmanship that they bring to their work.
