I have long wanted a "Barcelona" chair. I was prepared to buy one for my library, when I found Modern Classics. I spoke to the owner at length about the leather and ordered the MC version. The chair is fantastic. It is heavy duty, not flimsy; the stitching is extraordinary; the seat is comfortable as well as beautiful. The chair blows away other replicas (Room & Board, you should hang your head in shame) and makes me smile almost every time I walk by it. Great quality, more than fair price, winning customer service; why go anywhere else?

I just installed two Exhibition Counter Height Bar Stools (original designed by Mies van der Rohe for the Four Seasons restaurant of the Seagram Building in NYC ). They look absolutely awesome. The grey leather is soft (not plastic-feeling or over processed) and a very even color. The stitching is seamed perfectly, an important detail not just for aesthetics reasons but also for longevity (especially on the corners). I also have two Exhibition chairs in dark brown leather which are the center piece of my living room. They mix really well with family antiques and have warn really well over 10+ years. We did a test order of two of the Mies Style - Exhibition Chairs and the Mies Style Exhibition 3-seat bench. The craftsman ship and attention to detail are excellent (and as represented). We went with the standard leather and can't imagine why we even considered an upgrade. When ordering, as asked Curt about getting just the Platner table base. He responded immediately and added it to the order. Everything arrived today. We were so impressed that we ordered another Mies Style exhibition 2-seat bench for another room and two of the Jacobsen Style Swan Chairs. Can't wait for the additional items to arrive

I ordered the Exhibition Daybed in parchment leather and couldn't be more pleased. Friends, patients, and decorators who have visited my office have all commented on the beauty of the piece. Modern Classics was extremely customer service oriented through each step of the process – sending fabric swatches, delivery estimates, invoicing, follow-up care. To improve on a classic design – with more contemporary colors to choose from – while preserving the integrity of the original design is a feat rarely accomplished. My husband and I purchased Exhibition Chairs and Exhibition Footstools in Charcoal Gray and in Arctic White leather. We also purchased the Exhibition Three Seat Bench in Charcoal Gray and an Exhibition Side Table. We could not be more pleased with the quality of this furniture and with the stellar customer service Modern Classics provided us! I was very apprehensive about ordering furniture from an online retailer. Modern Classics mailed me a variety of leather samples which was very helpful. I researched several online retailers and Modern Classics seemed to offer the best quality. (One of the other companies couldn't even match the color of the straps on the back of the chair to the rest of the chair. That was unacceptable to me especially since I was purchasing timeless classics which I will keep forever! I wanted them to be perfect!) Our new furniture from Modern Classics IS perfect! The quality of the materials (leather, glass, wood and steel) could not be better and our new furniture is extremely comfortable. Also, the packaging was very substantial and our items were securely packed. We will definitely order more furniture from Modern Classics!

Our Florence Knoll sofa is so well made. We had to wait a longer than the original estimated time frame, but well worth the wait. I would highly recommend this company.
