Simone is amazing! She designed my whole house. She is patient and understanding of mine and my husbands taste preferences. She chose high quality furniture, rugs, and art for our new home. She is hard working and won’t stop until it’s perfect!

I first met Simone when she helped my daughter & son in law design the interior for their new home. It was the first house for both of them & their first time decorating from ‘scratch’. They were thrilled with the results & I was so impressed that when I moved I knew I wanted Simone to help me make my new house a home. This was a very different project; I already had furniture, pictures & decorating pieces I wanted to use. Simone was equally adept at this aspect of design, I appreciated the way she showed me how to use my favorite pieces in new ways that really highlighted them. She had excellent suggestions for a few additional pieces, such as a mirror & a bench, which really brought the living room together. Her knowledge of local & online suppliers for a variety of budgets was impressive. She really understood my taste & her suggestions were spot on. Speaking of budgets, Simone is very prompt & mindful of making the best use of her time. We got the initial phase of the project, which was the most labor intensive, done in the exact amount of time she recommended we budget. She had a variety of suggestions regarding how to complete the final phase, depending on how much legwork I wanted to do myself & what I wanted to delegate to her. It was an absolute pleasure working with Simone & I recommend her without reservation for your design project, large or small. I’m sure you’ll be as delighted with the results as I was!

My husband and I worked with Simone on a large scale decorating and remodeling project for over a year. Not only is she very professional, but she is just plain fun to have around (which is valuable since clients and designers end up spending A LOT of time together!) Simone is honest, flexible, responsive, and an incredibly hard worker. She is passionate about design and will guide her clients in effort to create a beautiful aesthetic, but she is also very mindful of working within the financial scope and vision of each unique client. We chose Simone Fee of Matter of Design to fully renovate our kitchen based on other projects of hers that we had seen. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning and the additional work in the surrounding family area has completely transformed our home. The end result exceeded even my greatest hopes for the project. We now have a truly functional, sleek and stylish cooking and entertaining area, for which I am so grateful. Not only do we have form we have function. I am grateful for Simone's professionalism and incredibly personal and personable interaction throughout the renovation. Her integrity, honesty and attention to detail, made this a pleasurable and stress-free process in what I understand is usually a very difficult time. From the very beginning, Simone simplified the process for us, by producing numerous storyboards for us to choose from, thereby making what would have been an overwhelming decision making process, amazingly easy and fun. Unbelievably, for only one day were we unable to use our cooktop. The entire process was completely uninvasive and at no time impacted any other portion of the house...the renovation was invisible other than in the kitchen and was completed well within the estimated time and quoted cost. I cannot thank them enough. After the outstanding success of our kitchen project, we hired Simone and Matter of Design to renovate our main bathroom. As above, she provided us with storyboards for us to make choices from, and quite frankly each one was spectacular. This was a down to the studs renovation, again, performed with virtually no disturbance to our day to day lives. Clean up each night at finishing time was immaculate and again this project came in on budget on time. The result is the most beautiful bathroom I have ever been in. It is sleek, has drama, feels like a deluxe spa, and is timelessly beautiful...a dream bathroom come true.

Matter of Design helped me to choose finishes for my beach house as well as layout and choose furniture. Simone was attentive and thoughtful and really heard my likes and dislikes. She followed thru on all deliveries and was a pleasure to work with.

I hired Matter of Design to decorate my new condo in 2012. I had seen Simone Fee's design work after touring a few of the model units she had decorated. I knew right away that I wanted her to decorate my place. Simone decorated my 3 bedroom condo including all 3 bedrooms, one of which also serves as an office, and my living room. I'm extremely happy with my home and over a year later I still walk in and can't believe how beautiful it is. This is all because of Simone's talent to bring furniture, colors and styles together. Simone is very easy to work with, she's patient, honest and reliable. She understood overall what I wanted for my home and helped me make decisions. Straight away, my husband and I were impressed with the design that was sophisticated, glamorous and polished.
