When we bought our home, it was perfect, except the main bathroom and closet were much too small. The house was custom built and we were concerned that the new addition would look awkward. We wanted to add on 12’ x24’ across the entire house. Once we told Morris Builders what we wanted, they went to work with a floor plan and a drawing that amazed us, with only adding on 8’ instead of 12’. We have been so impressed with how Morris Builders were able to create the bathroom of our dreams. I have to show it off to everyone who comes to visit. And even better, the new addition looks like it was always part of the house. Throughout the entire process, Kirk, Aubrey, and Gavin were amazing. We will not hesitate to hire Morris Builders for any future work; in fact, we already have plans!

Morris builders has completed two projects for our home in Grand Rapids. We loved the work they did on our basement so much that when we ready to redo our master bed and bath, they were the natural choice. What we really appreciated is their organization, transparency with timeline and ease of communication. They were always respectful of our space, left the workplace extremely tidy and made sure every detail was attended to.

Morris Builders did an awesome job on my kitchen remodel! I spent hours on the Houzz web site looking at many different kitchens so I could find "my" style. I chose ideas from at least 20 different kitchens and Morris was able to incorporate a variety of ideas into my beautiful kitchen! They were easy to work with - especially their lead carpenter, Jeff! If I had a question or problem, he went out of his way to solve it to my satisfaction. Everyone at Morris were friendly and professional!

The team at Morris Builders did a wonderful job with my exterior remodel. In 2012 I purchased an existing dental office that has been functioning in downtown Rockford since the early 60's. The building was one of the longest standing dental offices and had a great history, but was in need of a lot of TLC. In 2013 a different contractor was hired to update all of our treatment areas. While we were successful in providing a modern setting that better represents the level of care we provide, the overall experience lead me to reevaluate who I would use to complete the exterior project. In 2015 it was time to work on the exterior and for that phase I interviewed and chose Morris Builders. Their team is well thought of in the community and they worked with me at each step to realize my vision for moving forward. Since the project was complete in the summer of 2015, we have experienced an unending stream of compliments on our "new" dental office. Over the years, Morris Builders has assisted us in various repairs and improvements to our home. Kirk & Joy are very easy to work with and their staff is courteous and professional. We have had Morris Builders remodel our entire condominium over the past seven years. Their work was excellent and the prices were well in line for the scope of the work done. Morris Builders did a major addition and renovation of an existing area for us. We had a very tight timeline over an extremely cold winter and Morris delivered by finishing the job ahead of schedule. We have contracted with Morris Builders on two renovations and one addition over the course of nine years. The first renovation was a finished basement with kitchenette, half bath, workout and craft rooms, office, laundry and workshop/furnace area. We added a whole wall of closet/storage cupboards and even tucked a Christmas storage area under the stairs. The other renovation was to update the master bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom. A coffered ceiling was installed and the two rooms were made handicap-accessible with enlarged doorways and a large roll-in shower, which my husband has already made use of due to a stress fracture in his foot. The addition was to our kitchen - we added a 19' by 28' room, including vaulted ceilings, two story windows, a large double-sided kitchen island, custom corner gas fireplace and china cupboard, all new cabinetry and countertops, and room for a table to seat 10 adults and more adorable grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Everyone at Morris Builders has been thoughtful, helpful, professional, conscientious and capable of working with you to your satisfaction on the project. Kirk and Joy are also two of the nicest people you will ever met. As you can tell, we highly recommend them.

Morris Builders did an amazing job on our historic home. We added a second story to the innkeepers space of our B&B. They were professional and enjoyable to work with. The craftsman ship and integrity were reassuring. The remodel is so seamless that returning guests don't even notice our new 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.
