Alexandra is incredible to work with! She is a true professional - her attention to detail is incomparable. Alex helped us figure out what we really wanted and needed for our space and how to make it work for our budget. She added creative touches that made the space uniquely ours. Alex also advocated for our needs and made sure every item that came was as it should be- any challenges that came up she handled swiftly and successfully. I worked with Alexandra on a basement finishing project earlier this year. From the first intake meeting Alexandra’s friendliness, warmth and passion shined through. It was a very easy decision for me to work with Alexandra on my project. Alexandra worked very closely with my contractor and remained hands-on throughout. For 2 years, I had dreamed of turning my dark, junky, purposeless space into a warm and inviting place for me and my family to enjoy. I have a small basement with low ceilings and mechanicals that take up a lot of space, and struggled to imagine that it could become anything close to what I was dreaming of. Well, Alexandra worked her magic! Every inch of that room was created with purpose. From the bold accent wall and matching cabinets to the custom pieces, to the perfect (and I mean perfect furniture), Alexandra made certain to translate my thoughts, desires and photos into what is now my most favorite place in the house. There is no question in my mind that Alexandra created this space with true expertise and a WHOLE lot of heart ❤️. I am very thankful to her for her sincere partnership, her tireless work in ensuring everything was as perfect as she designed it, and just being an all around wonderful person. She is as down to earth as “down to earth” can be. Thank you, Alexandra for making one of my biggest dreams come true! You are truly the best!

Alexandra did incredible design work in our family study and family room. She transformed two ordinary rooms into exceptionally creative, traditional-modern, bespoke spaces. Every detail was perfectly suited to our aesthetic. She's a gem!

Alexandra and her colleague Madi did an excellent job jumping into our project with creative and targeted design advice. They worked around our short timeline and busy schedules, with a cost structure suited to our project of redoing a basement and bonus space. Alexandra helped my wife and me understand the commonalities between our different design aesthetics, allowing for more harmonious and efficient decision-making. They helped us narrow down choices, elevated ideas that we brought to the table, provided their honest opinions when needed, and gave realistic guidance about places to save vs. splurge. We had a truly wonderful experience working with Alexandra to design three rooms in our home. They our now our favorite spaces. Overall the process was organized, seamless and fun. Not only does she have a great eye, but she also has a way of ensuring your home feels like you. She was able to bring our vision to life and see our rooms in ways we hadn't imagined. We hope to work with her again on future projects!

Alexandra delivered a thorough and well thought out design matching our taste and budget. On top of that, she was responsive, on time, and a pleasure to work with. The overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. Alexandra helped us with a small living/dining/office space in our new apartment. Many pieces would have to do double duty and measurements needed to be exact. We also had beautiful light during the day but too dark at night. Alexandra addressed these issues for us and excited us about new design ideas we would have never thought of. We will definitely work with Alexandra as we continue to update our new home!

I engaged with Alexandra and M&P Design Group in a particularly challenging scenario: In the middle of a global pandemic where nothing was being done in person, toward the latter half of a partial kitchen and living room renovation that started well before we met, and a list of requirements that we had to work with (furniture and artwork we were keeping, and dog considerations). She helped bring cohesion to our space, helped us really maximize the renovation and reflect our personal style, and also work with furniture we wanted to keep along with introducing new pieces. She helped us with flooring, window treatments, decorative wall elements, furniture, and more. All under a very short time frame — I'd say about a month and a half. Without a doubt her very focused design eye helped us make selections we never would have considered otherwise. She also pointed out some really important elements of space that we probably would have overlooked.

I had the pleasure of teaming up with MPDG to create a custom canvas & mural for a client. Alexandra is an incredibly talented Interior Designer. You can see creativity shine through in her designs; they’re simultaneously unique, fresh, and exactly what her client is asking for. As a person, Alexandra is charming, heartwarming, and down to earth, which made my job with her a blast. She’s easy to work with, and always comes up with incredible ideas as the project develops. Alexandra treats everyone on the job site as an equal, and acknowledges the expertise of each person in their own right. Because of this, she and her “team” are able to execute an overall incredible project. I highly recommend hiring Alexandra / MPDG for your interior design needs!

Alexandra is the best!! This is the second house I’ve worked with her on and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. She is always able to work within any budget I have and propose phases of my projects that make the most sense for me. But the best part of working with her is that you know your space will be so stunning and so uniquely yours. She takes so much of your personal style and taste and translates that into beautiful spaces that not only look spectacular but create the feeling that you are looking for as well.

Alexandra is a phenomenal designer. I worked with her on a near-full renovation of a 2BR 2BA brownstone apartment in Manhattan over the course of 10 months. I'm super happy with the results and feel like I have a place which I'll be happy living in for many years. This was my first renovation, and Alexandra was kind, patient, and an incredible help all throughout. Genuinely a life-saver. Alexandra's design sense is on point and she was able to create many wonderful "moments" throughout my space. The colors, spacial arrangement, functionality of each room received a big-time upgrade. What I think sets her apart even more is her strong project management skills and clear and timely communication. She's both an artist, and a builder. Alexandra felt like a true partner on my renovation project, and I recommend her highly to anybody looking for a guide, teammate, and source of excellent design ideas throughout the renovation process.

I hired Alex of M&P Design Group to help me completely renovate a condominium that I had not yet moved into. It turned out to be a huge job that required 10 months of work. While Alex was responsible for the planning, selection and purchase of furnishings and decor, she also spearheaded the work that needed to be done by my contractor. We all became a seamless team. Alex was most professional, honest and genuine in her desire to make my home all I hoped it would be. She established reasonable timelines and stayed on schedule. Alex made a great effort to understand what my taste was and worked with it to find furnishings within my budget. She made my wish list her "to do" list and she devoted all her time to researching and finding items at our established price point. Her eye for detail, color and general design reflects an apparent talent she has in her chosen profession. Alex stuck by my side for the entire length of the project and I never (not once) had to remind her of any items that needed to be completed nor did I ever have to find her-she was present and engaged for the entire project. Mostly, my new home looks like ME, not the work of a designer who influenced my decisions. it has been an absolute joy to work with M&P Design and I highly recommend this talented lady for your interior design needs.

This is the 3rd time I’ve had the pleasure of teaming up with Alexandra on a job, and I can’t say enough good things about her. Our most recent project was a 10-month full home renovation. As a contractor, working alongside a designer is key for projects of this magnitude and Alexandra is fantastic! She has such a unique & creative eye — getting to execute her vision is not only fun to see come to fruition, but her knowledge and experience makes what we do easy. Alexandra is incredibly hands on, attentive, and thoughtful about her work. She also makes a point to be on-site throughout the project to troubleshoot or answer any questions, oversee installs, mediate communication between my team & the client, and when necessary she happily helps out. Her attitude is professional & positive, her ideas are inventive, and her designs are stunning! I highly recommend working with Alexandra / M&P Design Group for any interior design, renovation, and decorating projects you undertake. I know I will again.

It was an absolute joy working with Alex! I was extremely hesitant at first in working with a designer and felt overwhelmed in my search, but from the very first meeting with Alex I knew I had finally found the right person. Throughout the entire project, she made me very comfortable, was extremely professional, energetic, enthusiastic and it was obvious she really knew what she was doing. It was no small task either. As a first-time home owner, coming from a tiny one-bedroom apartment to a 3-bedroom 4 level home, I basically had a blank canvas and knew it would be a lot of work. She listened to my concerns and my ideas and was able to incorporate that throughout the entire home. I could not have asked for a better designer and a more trustworthy person! Alex always had my best interest in mind, I felt safe leaving her in my home to manage deliveries and/or oversee work while I was not at home. She has a keen eye for colors and textures, is very creative, has amazing ideas and is a total pro with vendors. I could not have done this without her and I now have a saying in my house, “don’t ever do anything without asking Alex first!” and I don’t!

I am so grateful that I met Alex of M&P design. She immediately understood my vision, worked within my budget (although you would never know we had one), and thoughtfully designed, sourced and put together a space that my family and I are in love with. Her design philosophy is so aligned with how families actually live today and she was so flexible to work with. She was organized, timely and very efficient. I definitely saved myself money and time and have a more beautiful space than I could have imagined by working with Alex.

Alexandra was a total lifesaver! My husband and I bought our first home and were completely clueless about where to start. I wanted to find a designer with a more youthful and cutting-edge vision, and Alexandra delivered that and more! She advised us on everything from paint colors and how to define our aesthetic, to making specific product suggestions that were creative and innovative so our house stands apart from the cookie-cutter look. She was also flexible on pricing which we appreciated as new homeowners still shell-shocked by closing fees and our first mortgage payments looming. M & P Design Group's renovation of my dental office was a big success! Alexandra's use of color and style have given us a lovely and warm space in which to work. I needed an emergency restoration of two bathrooms after a burst pipe disaster. M&P design was on the scene days after I called. In a single day, she quickly and efficiently created designs to greatly improve the rooms over what they were before the flooding. The designs came with drawings, contractors notes, and specific recommendations for where to find all the items. She coordinated with the contractor to ensure the job would go smoothly. A pleasure to work with!

M &P Design took my husband and I's styles and blended them seamlessly!! I love our renovation thanks to the way Alex was able to bring a little Utah love into our NY home. Alex also worked with us at our own pace, which was great and far less overwhelming. Big project or small project-- call them!! Seriously-- look at the photos and call them!!

It was a delight working with Alexandria on my home! I had a very detailed philosophy behind how I wanted my house to appear to people of diverse backgrounds. Happy and bright and joyful were the key words! She understood on an intuitive level completely, so it was very easy to seesaw back and forth on decisions with each of us making suggestions until the right choice appeared. I didn't meet Julia until close to the end of the project and so did not get to experience working with her. But I have met her on more than one occasion and would not hesitate to incorporate her help in any future design projects. I don't think you can go wrong with these two young ladies! They bring a fresh outlook and energy with them that I know you will appreciate!

Alex and Julia are truly professional, talented and creative designers. They listen to their client's ideas and work with them to achieve their client expectations. They are always coming up with fresh ideas and helping you to realized your dream home. They have been my interior designers for the last two years. We are still doing ongoing projects. Alex and Julia know their trade and has experience, and talented craftspeople working for them.

I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!
