Added Touch Drapery Shop

Thank you, Added Touch, for adding elegance and functionality to another 5 rooms in my house today. I have been delighted with my entire experience from design to installation. The blinds dressed up the rooms and made them feel more cozy. Amy was very careful to install each blind for maximum functionality and appearance. Kudos and thank you to the whole team!

I had multiple rooms installed with power and regular blinds. and spent over $20,000, very happy with the services. The last job were drapes in the bedroom. When they came out to install I was told that they had a hard time installing them but she "finally got it". I paid the remainder of the $6000 for the bedroom drapes and blinds and they left. Less than 5 minutes after they left the drapes fell and ripped a hole in the drywall. I immediately called her and showed her a picture of the damage. She came back out a few times to assess and trouble shoot and eventually said that they could swap out the rods and maybe the rods weren't sturdy enough to hold the heaviness of the curtains (something that should have been addressed before hand in my opinion.) So the new rods came in (we did not pick them, she ordered them without asking, my wife hated the design of the new rods but was willing to live with them if it fixed the problem) she then came to try the new rods and still did not work. Turns out she could not find the studs, and proceeded to hang 3 sets of curtains into the drywall without studs using the wrong anchors. So now we have holes in the drywall, and curtains that can not be used. After asking for a a new solution, she stated its not her responsibility and ultimately gave up. We then called our contractor who needless to say had them up within an hour patched and painted her drywall mess, cleaned all the dust and screws they left on floor. Since they were now up my wife contacted her and asked for the contractor charge and the difference in the curtain rods refunded. Seems like a simply ask. We have not heard one word back from them. No apology, No refund. Only that she had contacted a lawyer in case I was going to sue. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. We used this company for many other house projects and were very pleased with the outcome. All we wanted to do was work together to find a solution. We always want to support small business in this community so its such a shame to see how it was handled.

Added Touch has been my go-to decorating shop for 30 years. They have a wide variety of superior products to choose from, and offer insightful advice for decorating solutions. My latest project involved re-upholstering furniture for our family camp. It is not easy to find someone to do this work; many times one has to throw out furniture and buy new, which we did not want to do. Added Touch found fabrics which worked well with the camp colors, and steered me to an excellent workman who reupholstered our furniture with beautiful results. You may find cheaper decorators, but you will not find better.

Mary (and helper) installed 20 shades in 4 classrooms professionally and efficiently (one afternoon/evening). Good product, excellent service, competitive pricing. Thank you!
