Ace Handyman Services North Metro Denver

I strongly advise against using Ace Handyman Services. We were initially quoted one day for our project. During the first call, we raised concerns that it would take longer and were told not to worry. In reality, the project stretched across 4+ days. Pricing is hourly, but we were not provided with written updates or detailed breakdowns as the scope changed. Charges were presented at the end of each day, leaving little visibility into how costs were increasing in real time. On the first day, the technician determined additional help was needed. A second worker was added without a clear, written update to pricing or documented approval beforehand. The project timeline was repeatedly misrepresented. Each day we were told it would likely be finished that day, yet it continued to extend. Communication between teams and management appeared inconsistent. When new technicians were brought in, they did not seem to have full context, and we had to repeatedly explain the same details. At one point, Will (one of the managers) had to come out in person to review the work due to the number of issues. During that visit, he identified multiple areas that needed to be corrected. However, when those same issues were still present after the work was redone (effectively requiring the project to be done twice) the focus shifted. Instead of prioritizing resolution, he expressed frustration about how many days had been spent on our project. We also experienced ongoing problems with follow-through. Items we discussed were missed or had to be revisited, and basic precautions (like protecting floors) were not handled to a reasonable standard, resulting in our brand new hardwoods being scratched with no resolution from Ace. Communication with the office was unreliable. We were frequently told to expect callbacks that never came, and scheduling updates changed often. After the project, we attempted to follow up through multiple channels but did not receive further responses. One additional note: my partner previously left a negative review, with photos from our project, and it was removed shortly after being posted. Take that for what you will.

Repair wood fence in backyard. Service was timely and professional. The technician was positive and good to work with. Estimate in the field was transparent. I was provided with a written bid and proof of insurance.

We have absolutely nothing but praise for jobs done. Everything done perfectly. All employees are well trained in their skills. We would recommend highly to anyone We do not have photos

We needed our walls retextured after the previous owner put on the skim coat extremely thick. After getting several estimates we decided to go with Ricky at Handyman matters. Ricky and his team did an amazing job! He was communicative about the progress, friendly and finished the job on time. In addition, the project was extremely messy but they made sure to thoroughly clean up after themselves and get the house back in the condition they found it. The GM, Kim also made sure to call me about half way through to see how things were going. Such great customer service! I would highly recommend Handyman Matters to anyone. We will definitely be using them in the future for other house projects.

Great work, Kipp was professional and knew what he was doing. The new pocket door looks awesome and I love the new screens he built for me as well. The ladies running customer service were fantastic too, very knowledgeable and returned my calls immediately. Would definitely hire again if needed.

I had a goodly number of things that I'd left undone after moving into my current digs and after putting them off for too long made them my New Year's resolution. I called, he came and voila he had them all done in short order and beyond my satisfaction, I don't see how you can go wrong by contacting these folks and ask'em ta giterdun. Handyman Matters was awesome! very professional, reliable, friendly, helpful, they did a great job! Everything that we requested was done, along with a couple of extra little things, like putting my packages in our house, replacing some carpet cover on the stairs, and a quick and easy access panel to an outside water line. They cleaned up daily, and after completing the job as well. Ricky was very professional, helpful, personable and does awesome work, we are 100% satisfied with the job and will be using them again for another project this summer!!!

Matt that came out and did the job was great, very efficient and did a great job. The only thing that I did not think acceptable of the company is that they have a 50% mark up of any supplies that they would go and purchase for the job, I just thought that was a bit steep. Especially if it is a job that I may need some help on knowing what to buy. In this case I took a chance and went and bought what was needed and it worked out.

Repairman was very nice, did a great job and was very helpful. Would definitely hire again for any handyman needs.

Kipp does top quality work, professional and trustworthy. This is the second time I have asked for this technician, was impressed by outdoor work as well
