North Shore Kitchens did my kitchen and dining room renovation ten years ago and I still believe that I have the best kitchen in the world! They took down a wall and increased the size of the area which now includes a nine foot Island. The design was not only completely functional but far superior to what I had previously. One of my favorite areas is the authentic walk in French pantry done in subway tile, matching cabinetry and wood shelving. I store everything in there from canned foods to large appliances and serving pieces. There is also a closet specifically for my vacuum, brooms and cleaning supplies....and it looks beautiful! The mantel over my cook top is massive and I love decorating it for every season. The fireplace surround that North Shore Kitchens designed in the dining room just off my kitchen is also quite lovely. It is done in a marble that blends perfectly with the matching wood wainscot that was installed with a chair rail around the room perimeter. North Shore Kitchens also designed and installed the cabinetry in my master bath and library. I can't say enough about the quality of the product and the design. It was a pleasure doing business with such a well established company.

I am president of an interior design firm. I have worked with this company numerous times on many kitchen and bath projects. I drive an hour just to use them because their customer service and their knowledge is excellent. They have outstanding knowledge of a large variety of manufacturers and products from fixtures to cabinetry to hardware. They always find product that works beautifully, and they are extremely accessible and pleasant to deal with.

The Frank Lyodd Wright of kitchens - the setting sets the design - 3 homes 3 amazing kitchens! The first, a 100+ year old neoclassical mansion on Long Island's Gold Coast.. NSK designed a chef's kitchen with antique glaze and distressed finish cabinets, ubatuba counters, wine storage vault with vineyard scene in stained glass. This kitchen could have been in a high end Tuscan villa - la pui bella cucina. The second, regarded as one of the most attractive kitchens in a classic style Hampton waterfront home was adorned with white shaker look, a 9' natural wood island with ship's pendants above, Wolfe appliances and 2" Carreras counter - gorgeous. The third, voted "one of the most decadent kitchens in the US". Highlights include: horizontal rift cut oak, Gaggenau appliances, Dornbracht faucets, 8' island topped with Afromosia African teak, etc. All projects entirely unique, expert craftsmanship, intricate details, beautiful, comfortable, functional. And ..... the joy of working with NK who stands behind his work. No issue to small. Attention to detail and only one standard - done Wright. A big fan, currently working on our 4th project.

Two years ago we embarked on a complete renovation of our Huntington townhome. We chose to work with Norman Kellershon of Northshore Kitchens because of recommendations from friends and because we had seen some of his completed work in their homes. From the planning stage to the completion of our project (which included a kitchen, two and a half baths, a fireplace enclosure, built in bookcases and bar, lighting, moldings, trim work and painting) there was amazing attention to detail. The materials and craftsmanship are of highest quality. The end result far exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend North Shore Kitchens and Norman Kellershon. They take the time to develop a detailed plan taking into account how the customer will be using the kitchen (e.g., highly functional working kitchen, show kitchen or kitchen for entertainment). They work with very high quality suppliers (both for cabinet manufacturers and for installation and other related work). Projects come in with no unpleasant surprises, on time and on budget. This is the second house where we have remodelled the kitchen and have used Norman and North Shore Kitchens. They are far and above the competition. I am very hands on with my house projects and understand quality design, materials and workmanship - this is what you get through North Shore Kitchens.

When it came time to redo my kitchen, my friend highly recommended North Shore Kitchens. After one meeting with Norman, I knew we would be making the best decision. After listening to our needs for our new kitchen, North Shore Kitchens came up with a plan that far exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with the floor plan and loved all his suggestions. The carpentry was first rate. North Shore Kitchens stayed within our budget, were top notch professionals, and stayed true to their proposed timeline. We absolutely love our kitchen! Our kitchen has become our favorite room in the house. I would highly recommend Norman and his staff at North Shore Kitchens to anyone who is looking to make the kitchen of their dreams.
