We bought stock cabinets from NY Woodwork and are thrilled with the results — beautiful, high-quality work. Doron designed the cabinets to maximize space and meet our needs, was very responsive, and refined the design until it was perfect.

Doron built beautiful cabinets for me for a walk in closet and a reach in closet. They are solidly made, the drawers are a nice wood that feel substantial. Doron was easy to work with, quick and appropriately priced. What I really appreciated was he considered all the aspects of the job which included installation. I live in an old townhouse and the halls are narrow, he built the closets to accommodate that and thought through every possible obstacle. Installation was a breeze. They are well designed and meet all my closet needs.

I had been looking for a very long time for a contractor to build a customized bedroom set. The day my husband introduced me to Doron changed my life. He met with me, took measurements of my bedroom, and sent me a sketch. After a few weeks, I received a video of the bedframe, then the dresser and closets. Wow, I was truly impressed! Doron came back once again to confirm the measurements. A couple of weeks later, the set was completed, delivered, and installed without a hitch. The workmanship was perfect! I hit the jack box, I just LOVE my new bedroom set! Afterward, Doron made a nice armoire to store my computer & printer with drawers. Doron is professional, respectful, and a humble man. He loves and owns his job. He's very trustworthy, and his word is his bond. Doron has a team of great men working with him. They are professional, responsible, and respectful. When I embarked on a project to redo my home office I decided to forgo a general designer and attempted to cobble together all the the different contractors and specialists myself. I worked with a wide range of craft experts and Doron of New York Woodwork Inc stands out above the pack as the most impressive. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Doron was hands down the most professional business owner aaaand contractor I worked with. He showed up when he said he would show up, he never deferred or came late, he replied to emails the same day, he was always available by phone. He was extremely efficient-- he provided accurate time estimates, often finished sooner than the estimates, and was always ready to suggest a date and get the work done. Despite all of the great stuff I mentioned above, my favorite thing about Doron is that he actually cares. He came over 4-5x before the project even began to look at the room, talk with me about what I wanted, make suggestions, and draw out ideas. Once the project started he constantly sent me picture updates and modified plans based on my changing preferences. Overall working with Doron was an absolute pleasure. He provided extremely high quality work efficiently and professionally. There is literally no way to provide better service as a contractor. Doron is a class act. I am an interior designer and so I expect a higher level of service, quality, and an overall experience for my clients. From the start, Doron was extremely responsive and professional, showed up to every meeting early, stuck to his promises and timeliness, and was honest. There was no frustration at any point in my various projects with him. The quality is great, my designs were followed and he even helped improve them with his expert knowledge of materials and woodworking. Even when small fixes were needed (as is with every project, we call those small fixes punchlists) he was accommodating. Doron stands behind his work.
