OBERFIELDS LLC

BEWARE!!! I wanted to support a local business and chose Oberfields. The stone was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately, the driver stacked the pallets of different kinds of stone on top of each other. Our patio is made with two different paver sizes and he stacked one on top of the other. This means I will have to unstack the entire top pallet to access the other size to build my patio. A pallet of regular retaining wall stones are stacked on top of the wedges, meaning to build a curved wall, I need to again unstack an entire pallet before I can begin. You can see from the pictures that there would have been plenty of room on the driveway to place them in one layer or at least reorganize them before stacking to avoid this problem. When I called Melissa, the rep I worked with, to explain my situation to see if a driver could return to unstack these and save me a lot of time and effort, the answer from the dispatcher was no. When I then asked her for a credit of some kind to compensate me for the time spent, doing this extra work, she spoke to her manager, Kevin, and the answer was also no. She said Kevin would speak with me, but I would receive no more help regardless, so I told her it's not worth my time then. I am very disappointed to be treated this way. I will not use Oberfields again and will advise friends and family to avoid them as well. Maybe if I'd been from a big landscape company my treatment would have been different, but as a direct retail customer, they clearly showed that clients like me are not a priority.

Oberfields has been a supplier for us for about 2 years now, and they have done an excellent job communicating with us regarding products, shipments, and pricing. We would highly recommend Oberfields to any design-build firm, subcontractor, or anyone who is looking to add a unique piece to their living environment.
